This market refers to the LoL match between VfB eSports and Team Orange Gaming in the Prime League 1st Division Regular Season, initially scheduled for June 30 at 2:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "VfB eSports" if VfB eSports win the match against Team Orange Gaming. This market will resolve to "Team Orange Gaming" if Team Orange Gaming win the match against VfB eSports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven by trader conviction and real-money skin-in-the-game. Esports betting markets may show wider spreads on niche matchups, and prediction markets sometimes price in longer-tail outcomes—like specific in-game events—that traditional sportsbooks don't offer. Comparing the two can reveal where informed traders see edge versus where bookmakers have priced for liability.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker and order-book mechanism where traders directly set bid and ask prices by committing capital. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The top outcome currently reflects community consensus on the most likely scenario, and prices shift continuously as new trades execute. Liquidity depth and trading volume influence how easily you can enter or exit a position, and wider spreads typically appear on less-traded outcomes or closer to resolution.
This market resolves around Jul 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution hinges on the final result of the match—whether VfB eSports or Team Orange Gaming emerges victorious in the best-of-one format. Once the game concludes and the winner is officially recorded by the Prime League, the market will settle accordingly and traders' positions will be finalized based on their prediction accuracy.
Key catalysts include roster announcements, recent team performance trends, and player form leading up to the match. Injury or substitution news, coaching changes, or public statements from team management can shift trader sentiment significantly. In-game meta shifts and patch updates to League of Legends may favor one team's playstyle over the other. As match day approaches, betting volume typically increases, and any leaked scrimmage results or analyst commentary could trigger sharp price movements. Real-time updates during the broadcast itself will drive final settlement.
