Description

This market refers to the LoL match between VfB eSports and BIG in the Prime League 1st Division Regular Season, initially scheduled for April 17 at 2:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "VfB eSports" if VfB eSports win the match against BIG. This market will resolve to "BIG" if BIG win the match against VfB eSports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi market logic is fundamentally incompatible with the event structure. Kalshi resolves YES if either team wins the Prime League 1st Division 2026 (a season-long competition), not the specific BO1 match. Polymarket markets resolve based on Game 1 of the BO1 match itself. These are measuring entirely different events.

Hero Tip:

Do not trade Kalshi and Polymarket markets as if they are the same event. Kalshi's YES outcome requires BIG or VfB to win the entire 2026 Prime League season, which is independent of the April 17 BO1 result. Polymarket markets resolve on specific in-game statistics from the BO1 match only. Betting YES on Kalshi does not hedge Polymarket positions.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi:

Market resolves YES if Berlin International Gaming OR VfB eSports wins the Prime League 1st Division 2026 (the full season competition). The specific BO1 match scheduled for April 17, 2026 is mentioned only as a reference point, not as the resolution trigger. Quote: 'If Berlin International Gaming wins the Prime League 1st Division 2026... then the market resolves to Yes. If VfB eSports wins the Prime League 1st Division 2026... then the market resolves to Yes.' This is a season-outcome market, not a match-outcome market.
  • Polymarket:

All six markets (Dragons, Inhibitors, Penta Kill, Baron, Quadra Kill, Odd/Even Kills) resolve exclusively on Game 1 statistics of the BO1 match. The match-winner market (item 12) resolves to VfB eSports or BIG based on who wins the specific BO1. Quote: 'This market will resolve to VfB eSports if VfB eSports win the match against BIG. This market will resolve to BIG if BIG win the match against VfB eSports.' All in-game markets explicitly state 'This market is about whether [condition] during Game 1' and reference gol.gg for match-specific statistics.
