Description

This market refers to the LoL match between TLN Pirates and Joblife in the LFL Regular Season, initially scheduled for April 23 at 1:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "TLN Pirates" if TLN Pirates win the match against Joblife. This market will resolve to "Joblife" if Joblife win the match against TLN Pirates. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi market conflates two distinct outcomes (TLN Pirates win OR Joblife win) into a single binary resolution, while Polymarket provides granular, outcome-specific markets. Additionally, Kalshi's resolution logic is unclear and potentially circular.

Hero Tip:

If betting on Polymarket, you get precise outcome markets (match winner, specific in-game events). On Kalshi, the market structure is ambiguous—it appears to resolve YES for either team winning, making it functionally a 'match will be played' market rather than a directional bet. Avoid Kalshi unless you only care about whether the match occurs.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Market states 'If TLN Pirates wins...then resolves to Yes' AND 'If Joblife wins...then resolves to Yes.' This creates a logical contradiction: both outcomes resolve to the same result (Yes), making the market non-directional. The market appears to resolve YES if the match is played and completed by either team, not on a specific team outcome. Quote: 'If TLN Pirates wins the LFL 2026: Joblife vs. TLN Pirates League of Legends match...then the market resolves to Yes. If Joblife wins the LFL 2026: Joblife vs. TLN Pirates League of Legends match...then the market resolves to Yes.'
  • Polymarket: Provides four distinct, outcome-specific markets: (1) Match Winner (TLN Pirates vs Joblife), (2) Any Player Quadra Kill (Yes/No), (3) Both Teams Slay Dragon (Yes/No), (4) Both Teams Destroy Inhibitors (Yes/No), (5) Any Player Penta Kill (Yes/No), (6) Both Teams Slay Baron (Yes/No), (7) Odd/Even Total Kills. Each market has independent resolution criteria tied to specific in-game events or match outcome. Quote: 'This market will resolve to TLN Pirates if TLN Pirates win the match against Joblife. This market will resolve to Joblife if Joblife win the match against Joblife.'
