Description

This market refers to the LoL match between Team Vitality and GIANTX in the LEC Regular Season, initially scheduled for April 19 at 11:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Team Vitality" if Team Vitality win the match against GIANTX. This market will resolve to "GIANTX" if GIANTX win the match against Team Vitality. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Kalshi use identical resolution logic: the match resolves based on the number of games played in the BO3 series, with consistent handling of forfeits, cancellations, delays beyond 7 days, and incomplete matches.

Primary resolution logic:

Official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home, with fallback to consensus of credible reporting and video evidence if results not published within 2 hours of event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Polymarket Games Total O/U 2.5: Resolves YES (Over) if 3 or more games are played; NO (Under) if fewer than 3 games are played.
  • Kalshi Over 2.5 maps: Resolves YES if over 2.5 maps (i.e., 3 or more games) are played.
  • Games won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward the total, provided the match is completed.
  • If the match is canceled, ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days without a winner determined, both markets resolve 50-50.
  • If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover, both markets resolve 50-50.
  • If the clinching game is forfeited, the match counts as completed and the game total is determined by games actually played.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Forfeited Clinching Game: If the series-clinching game (Game 2 or Game 3) is forfeited, the match is treated as completed. The total game count reflects only the games actually played before the forfeit.
  • Incomplete Match with Forfeit: If the match begins but is not completed and one team wins via opponent forfeit/disqualification/walkover before a winner is determined in normal play, both markets resolve 50-50 rather than counting the incomplete games.
  • 7-Day Delay Threshold: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date (April 19, 2026 at 11:00 AM EDT) without a winner determined, both markets resolve 50-50 regardless of how many games were played.
  • Game Remakes: If any game is remade, only the remade game counts toward the total; the original game is disregarded for resolution purposes.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon official publication of final results on https://gol.gg/esports/home within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, or upon consensus of credible reporting if the official source is delayed.
