This event group covers the League of Legends Round 2 match between Team Secret Whales and MVK Esports in the LCP Group Stage, scheduled for July 31 at 5:00AM ET. Markets span match outcomes, game-specific results, and performance metrics across multiple platforms.
This market refers to the LoL Round 2 match between Team Secret Whales and MVK Esports in the LCP Group Stage, initially scheduled for July 31 at 5:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Team Secret Whales" if Team Secret Whales win the match against MVK Esports. This market will resolve to "MVK Esports" if MVK Esports win the match against Team Secret Whales. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
The event determines the winner of the LCP 2026 League of Legends match between MVK Esports and Team Secret Whales, scheduled for July 31, 2026, at 5:00 AM EDT. If MVK Esports wins, its corresponding market resolves to Yes, and the opposite occurs for Team Secret Whales. Should the match be postponed and not completed within 48 hours of its original start time, cancelled before play begins, or forfeited without any gameplay, both markets resolve to their fair market price. If the match starts but is later forfeited, resolution follows the official result declared by the governing body or tournament organizer. Kalshi clarifies that it holds no official affiliation with the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.

Prediction market odds often reflect sharper, more granular views than traditional sportsbook lines because they incorporate real-time trader positioning and can price in nuanced outcomes like map-specific wins. For this market, the decentralized nature of platforms lets odds adjust faster to new information, such as player form or patch changes, while sportsbooks may lag or smooth volatility. This can create pricing gaps, especially in smaller or regional events where prediction markets have deeper engagement and faster reaction times.
Key signals include practice match results, player injuries or roster swaps, and commentary from coaches or analysts that hint at strategic advantages. Patch notes or meta shifts in the game can also reshape expectations, especially if one team adapts faster. Sudden spikes in volume on either Polymarket or Predict — particularly around $224,108 in a short window — often precede major moves, as traders react to new intel or betting trends that have not yet been fully priced in.
