Description

This market refers to the LoL Upper bracket semifinal 2 match between T1 and GAM Esports in the Esports World Cup Group C, initially scheduled for July 15 at 6:10AM ET. This market will resolve to "T1" if T1 win the match against GAM Esports. This market will resolve to "GAM Esports" if GAM Esports win the match against T1. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

This dashboard aggregates prediction market activity across Polymarket and Limitless for the T1 vs GAM Esports match, giving you a real-time view of how traders are pricing the outcome. Both venues allow you to track consensus odds and monitor shifts in trader conviction as the event approaches. The cross-platform view helps you spot divergences between venues and understand where the broader prediction market stands on this League of Legends matchup at the Esports World Cup.

Prediction markets like those tracked here operate on a different mechanism than traditional sportsbooks. Rather than a bookmaker setting fixed lines, traders themselves determine prices through continuous buying and selling, which often reflects real-time information and crowd wisdom. This can lead to sharper, more dynamic odds that shift rapidly as new information emerges. Comparing this market's prices to sportsbook lines may reveal opportunities, though prediction markets typically carry different liquidity and settlement rules than regulated betting venues.

Polymarket currently favors LoL: T1 vs GAM Esports (BO1) - Esports World Cup Group C at 92.0%, while Limitless leans toward T1 vs GAM Esports: T1 at 92.0%. Polymarket and Limitless can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Price differences between venues typically stem from variations in user base, trading volume, fee structures, and how each platform's liquidity pools are sized. Traders on one venue may have access to different information or risk appetites, causing them to value outcomes differently. These gaps can persist until arbitrageurs exploit them or new information aligns both markets.

This market resolves around Jul 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will reflect the actual match winner as documented by official League of Legends and Esports World Cup sources. Once the game concludes and the outcome is publicly confirmed, this market will settle accordingly, and traders will receive payouts based on their positions.

Key catalysts include roster changes, player injuries, recent team performance in the tournament, and pre-match analysis from esports experts. Scrimmage results or practice footage leaks can shift trader sentiment, as can updates on meta shifts in the current League patch. Social media momentum, betting syndicates entering the market, and shifts in trading volume on either platform can also trigger price swings. Close to match time, final team confirmations and in-game draft strategies often drive last-minute repricing.
