Description

This market refers to the LoL match between T1 Academy and Dplus KIA Challengers in the LCK Challengers League Rounds 1-2, initially scheduled for April 17 at 1:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "T1 Academy" if T1 Academy win the match against Dplus KIA Challengers. This market will resolve to "Dplus KIA Challengers" if Dplus KIA Challengers win the match against T1 Academy. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Kalshi use identical resolution logic: the market resolves YES if 3 or more games are played in the BO3 series, and NO if fewer than 3 games are played, with consistent handling of cancellations, delays beyond 7 days, and forfeits.

Primary resolution logic:

Official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home, with fallback to credible reporting and video evidence if results are not published within 2 hours of event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Games Total O/U 2.5 resolves YES (Over) if T1 Academy and Dplus KIA Challengers play 3 or more games in the series.
  • Games Total O/U 2.5 resolves NO (Under) if fewer than 3 games are played.
  • Games won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward the total, provided the match is completed.
  • If the match is canceled, ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days without a winner determined, the market resolves 50-50.
  • If the match begins but is not completed and one team wins via opponent forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover before a series winner is determined, the market resolves 50-50.
  • If the clinching game is forfeited, this counts as a completed match and the series total is resolved accordingly.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Forfeit of Clinching Game: If the series-clinching game (Game 2 or Game 3) is forfeited by one team, the match is considered completed and the total game count resolves based on games actually played before the forfeit.
  • Incomplete Match with Early Forfeit: If the match begins but is not completed and one team forfeits before a series winner is determined (e.g., forfeiting Game 1 or Game 2 before the series is clinched), the market resolves 50-50 rather than counting the forfeited game.
  • 7-Day Delay Without Play: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled April 17 date without any games being played, the market resolves 50-50 regardless of eventual outcome.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon completion of the series or determination that the series will not be completed, based on official gol.gg data or credible reporting within 2 hours of event conclusion.
