Description

This market refers to the LoL Lower bracket final match between Solary and Misa Esports in the EMEA Masters Playoffs, initially scheduled for April 14 at 11:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Solary" if Solary win the match against Misa Esports. This market will resolve to "Misa Esports" if Misa Esports win the match against Solary. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi and Polymarket diverge on scope and resolution triggers. Kalshi's market resolves YES if either team wins map 2, creating a tautological outcome where the market always resolves YES regardless of which team wins the series. Polymarket's markets resolve based on specific game outcomes (Game 4 winner, Game 2 winner, etc.) and series-level metrics, providing meaningful differentiation between outcomes.

Hero Tip:

Kalshi's map 2 market is fundamentally flawed—it will resolve YES no matter what happens because one team must win map 2. Avoid betting on Kalshi's map 2 market. Focus on Polymarket's game-specific and series-level markets, which have genuine binary outcomes and meaningful resolution criteria.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Outlier: Kalshi's single market resolves YES if 'Misa Esports wins map 2' OR 'Solary wins map 2'—a logical tautology that guarantees YES resolution regardless of match outcome. The market states 'If Misa Esports wins map 2... then the market resolves to Yes. If Solary wins map 2... then the market resolves to Yes.' This creates a market with no meaningful NO outcome.
  • Polymarket: Aligned with intended market design: Polymarket provides 20 distinct markets with genuine binary or multi-outcome resolution criteria, including game winners (Games 1-4), series winner, game-specific metrics (dragons, barons, inhibitors, kills, first blood, multi-kills), and series-level handicaps. Each market has clear YES/NO or team-specific outcomes with meaningful differentiation. Key quote: 'This market will resolve to "Solary" if Solary win Game 4 against Misa Esports. This market will resolve to "Misa Esports" if Misa Esports win Game 4 against Solary.'
