Description

This market refers to the LoL match between Skillcamp Esport and Karmine Corp Blue in the LFL Regular Season, initially scheduled for April 15 at 4:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Skillcamp Esport" if Skillcamp Esport win the match against Karmine Corp Blue. This market will resolve to "Karmine Corp Blue" if Karmine Corp Blue win the match against Skillcamp Esport. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi's resolution logic for the match winner is ambiguous and potentially contradictory, stating that the market resolves YES if either team wins, whereas Polymarket clearly resolves to the specific winning team name. Additionally, Kalshi provides no explicit resolution rules for the in-game objective markets (Baron, Dragon, Inhibitors, Kills, Quadra/Penta), while Polymarket provides detailed settlement criteria for Game 1 events.

Hero Tip:

If you trade the match winner on Kalshi, clarify with the platform whether YES means 'any match result' or 'a specific team win'—this ambiguity could lead to unexpected resolution. For in-game objective markets, Polymarket's detailed rules provide much clearer settlement guidance than Kalshi's absence of rules; trade accordingly on whichever platform you use.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Outlier: Kalshi's match-winner market states 'the market resolves to Yes' for both possible outcomes (Karmine Corp Blue wins OR Skillcamp Esport wins), creating logical ambiguity about whether YES means 'any result' or a specific team. Kalshi provides no explicit resolution rules for the five in-game objective markets (Baron, Dragon, Inhibitors, Kills, Quadra/Penta), leaving settlement criteria undefined. Key quote: 'If Karmine Corp Blue wins... then the market resolves to Yes. If Skillcamp Esport wins... then the market resolves to Yes.'
  • Polymarket: Aligned with standard binary sports resolution: Polymarket's match-winner market clearly resolves to the specific winning team name ('Skillcamp Esport' or 'Karmine Corp Blue'), with explicit 50-50 resolution for cancellations, ties, delays beyond 7 days, or forfeits. Polymarket provides comprehensive settlement rules for all five in-game objective markets, including detailed edge cases for surrenders, remakes, and series-clinching scenarios. Key quote: 'This market will resolve to "Skillcamp Esport" if Skillcamp Esport win the match against Karmine Corp Blue. This market will resolve to "Karmine Corp Blue" if Karmine Corp Blue win the match against Skillcamp Esport.'
