Description

This market refers to the LoL match between SK Gaming and Shifters in the LEC Regular Season, initially scheduled for April 4 at 8:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "SK Gaming" if SK Gaming win the match against Shifters. This market will resolve to "Shifters" if Shifters win the match against SK Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi and Polymarket use fundamentally incompatible resolution scopes. Kalshi resolves on Map 1 outcomes only (either team winning Map 1 = YES), while Polymarket resolves on series-level handicap outcomes (SK Gaming wins 2+ games vs. Shifters wins 2+ games). These are logically independent events with no overlap in settlement criteria.

Hero Tip:

Do not assume Kalshi and Polymarket markets move together. Kalshi's Map 1 winner is a single-game event; Polymarket's handicap markets depend on the full series outcome. A team can win Map 1 on Kalshi (YES) but lose the series handicap on Polymarket (resolving to the opposing team). Treat these as separate bets with different underlying events.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Outlier: Kalshi's two markets (items 1–2) both resolve to YES if either Shifters or SK Gaming wins Map 1 in the LEC 2026 match scheduled for April 4, 2026 at 8:00 AM EDT. This creates a logical contradiction—both markets cannot simultaneously resolve YES, yet the rules state each resolves YES if its respective team wins Map 1. The resolution scope is Map 1 only, independent of series outcome. Key quote: 'If Shifters wins map 1... the market resolves to Yes. If SK Gaming wins map 1... the market resolves to Yes.'
  • Polymarket: Distinct stance: Polymarket's markets resolve on series-level outcomes (handicap, game winners, total kills, objectives across Games 1–3) and the full BO3 match result. The primary market (item 22) resolves to SK Gaming or Shifters based on who wins the series. Handicap markets (items 2, 48) resolve based on whether one team wins 2+ games more than the other. Game-specific markets resolve only if that game is played. Key quote: 'This market will resolve to SK Gaming if SK Gaming wins 2 or more games than Shifters in this match. Otherwise, this market will resolve to Shifters.'
