PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Kalshi uses ambiguous binary yes/no logic that does not clearly distinguish between the two teams. Limitless uses a 31-day hard deadline (June 25, 2026 23:59 UTC) with an Other resolution, while Predict and Polymarket use a 7-day delay threshold plus 2-hour post-event grace period. Scope and edge-case handling differ materially across platforms.Hero tip: For series outcome markets, use Predict or Polymarket for unambiguous team-name resolution. Avoid Kalshi if you need clarity on which team won. For Limitless, note the June 25 deadline is 31 days post-scheduled date; if the match is delayed beyond June 18, Limitless may resolve Other while Predict/Polymarket resolve 50-50. For game-level props (first blood, baron, dragon, inhibitor, multi-kills, kill parity), confirm the specific game completed before settlement; incomplete games resolve 50-50 on Predict/Polymarket.

Critical divergence points:

  • Predict: Series winner resolves to team name (Nongshim Red Force or Hanwha Life Esports). Cancellation, tie, or delay beyond 7 days without winner = 50-50. Forfeit/disqualification/walkover before start = 50-50; if match begins and one team wins via opponent forfeit/disqualification = resolves to winning team. 2-hour post-event grace period for gol.gg publication; credible reporting consensus used if gol.gg unavailable. Game-level markets resolve based on completed games only; incomplete games = 50-50. Key Quote: 'If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50.'
  • Polymarket: Series winner resolves to team name. Cancellation, tie, or delay beyond 7 days without winner = 50-50. Forfeit/disqualification/walkover before start = 50-50; if match begins and one team wins via opponent forfeit/disqualification = resolves to winning team. 2-hour post-event grace period for gol.gg publication; credible reporting consensus used if gol.gg unavailable. Game-level markets (Game 1, 2, 3 winners; first blood; baron/dragon/inhibitor; multi-kills; kill parity) resolve based on completed games only; incomplete games = 50-50. Games Total O/U 2.5 and Game Handicap count forfeits/disqualifications/walkovers toward totals if match is completed. Key Quote: 'If the match is canceled (not played at all for any reason), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50.'
  • Kalshi: Binary yes/no structure. Resolves Yes if Hanwha Life Esports wins OR if Nongshim Red Force wins. No explicit handling of cancellation, delay, forfeit, or tie scenarios. Logical ambiguity: both teams cannot win a single match, yet both outcomes are mapped to Yes. No grace period or delay threshold specified. Key Quote: 'If Hanwha Life Esports wins... then the market resolves to Yes. If Nongshim Red Force wins... then the market resolves to Yes.'
  • Limitless: Resolves YES if named team (Nongshim Red Force or Hanwha Life Esports, depending on market) wins; NO otherwise. Forfeit/disqualification/walkover resolves to declared winner regardless of match start. Hard deadline: June 25, 2026 23:59 UTC. If no official result by deadline, resolves to Other. No explicit handling of tie or 7-day delay threshold. Key Quote: 'If the match is not completed with an official result by June 25, 2026, 23:59 UTC, the market will resolve to Other.'

Polymarket

This market refers to the LoL Lower bracket semifinal match between Nongshim Red Force and Hanwha Life Esports in the Esports World Cup Korea Qualifier Playoffs, initially scheduled for May 25 at 6:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Nongshim Red Force" if Nongshim Red Force win the match against Hanwha Life Esports. This market will resolve to "Hanwha Life Esports" if Hanwha Life Esports win the match against Nongshim Red Force. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
