Description

This market refers to the LoL Lower bracket semifinal match between MVK Esports and GAM Esports in the LCP Playoffs, initially scheduled for June 5 at 5:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "MVK Esports" if MVK Esports win the match against GAM Esports. This market will resolve to "GAM Esports" if GAM Esports win the match against MVK Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds on Predict often reflect a different consensus than traditional sportsbooks because they aggregate real-time trader sentiment rather than bookmaker margins. Sportsbooks typically build in a house edge and may adjust lines based on liability management, while prediction markets price outcomes based on collective participant belief. For this MVK versus GAM playoff series, comparing Predict implied probabilities to major esports sportsbook lines can reveal where the crowd sees value or where sharp bettors are positioning ahead of the match.

On Predict, the MVK versus GAM series is priced through a continuous order-book model where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current market reflects the collective expectation of whether MVK or GAM will win the best-of-five playoff match. Prices fluctuate based on new trades, team news, roster updates, and pre-match analysis. As the series date approaches, liquidity and price discovery typically improve, allowing traders to enter or exit positions at tighter spreads.

The market resolves on Jun 5, 2026 following the conclusion of the best-of-five series between MVK Esports and GAM Esports in the LCP Playoffs. Resolution is determined by the official match result announced by the league. The winning team in the series will be declared, and all positions will settle accordingly. Traders should monitor official LCP communications and broadcast schedules to stay informed of any schedule changes or delays that might affect the resolution timeline.

Several factors could shift market odds before the series begins. Player roster announcements, injury reports, or last-minute roster swaps involving either MVK or GAM would trigger immediate repricing. Recent scrim results, patch changes affecting champion pools, and team form heading into playoffs all influence trader sentiment. Media coverage, expert predictions, and community analysis can also move the market. Additionally, any official schedule changes, venue updates, or format clarifications from the LCP would prompt traders to reassess their positions on this high-stakes matchup.
