Description

This market refers to the LoL match between MVK Esports and CTBC Flying Oyster in the LCP Regular Season, initially scheduled for April 26 at 7:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "MVK Esports" if MVK Esports win the match against CTBC Flying Oyster. This market will resolve to "CTBC Flying Oyster" if CTBC Flying Oyster win the match against MVK Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Kalshi resolve the underlying match outcome identically: to the team that wins the series, with 50-50 fallback for cancellations, delays beyond 7 days, or pre-series forfeits. In-game markets uniformly resolve based on completed games, with 50-50 for unplayed games due to series clinch or forfeit.

Primary resolution logic:

Official information from gol.gg/esports/home; if unavailable within 2 hours of event conclusion, consensus of credible reporting including video evidence.

Core resolution logic:

  • Series winner (BO3): resolves to MVK Esports or CTBC Flying Oyster based on first team to win 2 games; 50-50 if match canceled, delayed >7 days without play, or ends in pre-series forfeit/walkover.
  • Individual game winners: resolve to the team that wins that specific game; 50-50 if game not completed for any reason or if series is already clinched before that game is played.
  • Game handicap (CFO -1.5 vs MVK +1.5): resolves to CTBC Flying Oyster if CFO wins 2+ more games than MVK; otherwise MVK Esports. Forfeit/disqualification/walkover wins count if match is completed; 50-50 if match canceled, delayed >7 days, or incomplete with mid-series forfeit.
  • Games total (O/U 2.5): Over if 3+ games played; Under if fewer. Forfeit/disqualification wins count if match completed; 50-50 if canceled, delayed >7 days, or incomplete with mid-series forfeit.
  • In-game events (penta kills, quadra kills, dragon/baron slays, inhibitor destruction, odd/even kills, first blood): resolve based on completed games. If game not played due to series clinch, forfeit, or cancellation, resolve 50-50. If game begins but is incomplete and ends via surrender, resolve based on whether the condition was met prior to stoppage.
  • Remakes: all markets resolve based on the remade game only, not the original.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Series clinch before Game 2 or 3: If one team wins 2-0, Game 2 and Game 3 are not played. All Game 2 and Game 3 markets resolve 50-50. Series winner and Games Total markets resolve normally.
  • Match canceled or delayed >7 days without play: All markets (series, individual games, handicap, totals, in-game events) resolve 50-50.
  • Pre-series forfeit/walkover/disqualification: Series winner resolves 50-50. All game-specific and in-game markets resolve 50-50.
  • Mid-series forfeit (one team forfeits after Game 1): Series winner resolves to the team that wins. Game-specific markets for completed games resolve normally. Markets for unplayed games resolve 50-50. Handicap and Games Total resolve 50-50 if the forfeit occurs before a winner is determined.
  • Game begins but is incomplete and ends via surrender: Game winner resolves based on the team that won before stoppage. In-game event markets resolve based on whether the condition was met prior to stoppage; if not met, resolve to No (or 50-50 for first blood if it never occurred).
  • No kills recorded in a game: Odd/Even Total Kills markets resolve 50-50.
  • First blood never occurs in a game: First Blood market resolves 50-50.

Timing:

Resolution occurs within 2 hours after the match concludes (all games completed or series clinched). If official data from gol.gg is not published within 2 hours, credible reporting consensus is used. Markets remain open until official or consensus resolution is available.
