Description

This market refers to the LoL match between Movistar KOI and SK Gaming in the LEC Regular Season, initially scheduled for April 11 at 12:30PM ET. This market will resolve to "Movistar KOI" if Movistar KOI win the match against SK Gaming. This market will resolve to "SK Gaming" if SK Gaming win the match against Movistar KOI. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi and Polymarket resolve fundamentally different markets with incompatible scopes and resolution criteria. Kalshi markets (items 1-2) resolve on Map 1 outcomes only, while Polymarket markets (items 3-121) resolve on individual game-level events (Quadra Kills, Baron/Dragon slays, inhibitor destruction, kill counts, First Blood) across Games 1, 2, and 3. These are entirely separate market families with no logical overlap.

Hero Tip:

Do not treat Kalshi and Polymarket markets in this group as hedges or correlated bets. Kalshi bets on Map 1 winner only; Polymarket bets on specific in-game events across the entire series. A Kalshi YES (Map 1 winner) tells you nothing about whether a Quadra Kill occurs in Game 2 on Polymarket. Treat them as independent market families.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Distinct stance: Kalshi resolves on Map 1 outcome only. Markets 1-2 state: 'If SK Gaming wins map 1... then the market resolves to Yes' and 'If Movistar KOI wins map 1... then the market resolves to Yes.' This is a single binary outcome (Map 1 winner) with no reference to series result, game-level events, or any Polymarket criteria. Resolution source is official LEC match data.
  • Polymarket: Distinct stance: Polymarket resolves on granular in-game events across Games 1, 2, and 3 (Quadra Kills, Penta Kills, Baron/Dragon slays, inhibitor destruction, kill counts, First Blood, Odd/Even kills, series winner, series length). Markets 3-121 explicitly reference individual game outcomes and specific champion/team actions. Resolution source is https://gol.gg/esports/home with 2-hour fallback to credible reporting. No Polymarket market references Map 1 outcome.
