Description
This market resolves based on the outcome of a single League of Legends Best-of-3 match between mCon esports and Dynasty in the Road Of Legends 2026 Regular Season, originally scheduled for April 9, 2026 at 1:00 PM EDT. The market will resolve to Yes if either team wins the match, creating a binary outcome with no possibility of No resolution under normal circumstances.
Kalshi and Polymarket use fundamentally incompatible resolution logic. Kalshi's markets resolve YES for either team winning (making both markets always YES), while Polymarket's markets resolve to the specific winner or to 50-50 based on match completion and timing conditions. This creates logical contradiction and makes Kalshi's markets unresolvable as stated.
Hero Tip:
Do not trade Kalshi markets in this group — they contain a logical error where both Dynasty and mCon esports markets resolve YES regardless of outcome. Trade only Polymarket markets, which use standard binary resolution (winner-specific outcomes or 50-50 for cancellations/delays/forfeits). If you hold Kalshi positions, escalate to settlement team immediately.
Critical Divergence Points:
Kalshi: Outlier: Both Kalshi markets (Dynasty wins and mCon esports wins) resolve YES if either team wins the match. This creates a logical impossibility where both markets resolve YES simultaneously, violating basic market structure. Key quote: 'If Dynasty wins...then the market resolves to Yes' AND 'If mCon esports wins...then the market resolves to Yes' — both conditions cannot be mutually exclusive.
Polymarket: Aligned with standard binary resolution: Polymarket markets resolve to the specific winner (mCon esports or Dynasty) or to 50-50 if the match is canceled, delayed beyond 7 days, ends in a tie, or involves forfeit/disqualification/walkover. Key quote: 'This market will resolve to mCon esports if mCon esports win the match against Dynasty. This market will resolve to Dynasty if Dynasty win the match against mCon esports. If the match is canceled...this market will resolve to 50-50.'
