Description

This event group covers a League of Legends best-of-3 series between LUA Gaming and UB Alma Mater in the LES Regular Season, scheduled for July 21, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET / 15:00 UTC. Markets span series winner, individual game winners, game count, handicap, and in-game objective outcomes (Baron, Dragon, Inhibitor, Kills, Penta/Quadra Kills).

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All five platforms (Opinion, Polymarket, Predict, Kalshi) apply identical series resolution logic, shared 7-day delay threshold, consistent forfeit/walkover treatment, and aligned in-game objective resolution tied to game completion status.Primary resolution logic: Official LES broadcast and https://gol.gg/esports/home; if gol.gg has not published final results within 2 hours of event conclusion, consensus of credible reporting and video evidence may be used.

Core resolution logic:

  • Series winner resolves to the team that wins a majority of games (2 out of 3 in a BO3). Games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series.
  • Individual game winners resolve based on the team that wins that specific game. If a game is not completed, that game market resolves 50-50.
  • Cancellations (match not played at all), ties, or delays beyond 7 days from scheduled date without a winner determined resolve to 50-50.
  • If the match begins but is not completed and one team wins due to opponent forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover during play, the series resolves to the winning team. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover before the match starts, the series resolves to 50-50.
  • In-game objective markets (Baron, Dragon, Inhibitor, Kills, Penta/Quadra Kills) resolve based on whether the condition was met prior to game stoppage. If the game is not completed and the condition was not met, these markets resolve to No or 50-50 as applicable.
  • Games Total (O/U 2.5) resolves Over if 3 or more games are played; Under if fewer than 3 games are played. Games won by forfeit, disqualification, or walkover count toward the total if the match is completed.
  • Game Handicap (LUA -1.5 vs UB +1.5) resolves to LUA Gaming if LUA wins 2 or more games than UB; otherwise to UB Alma Mater. Forfeit/disqualification/walkover games count if the match is completed.
  • Team name discrepancies (abbreviations, alternate spellings, sponsor tags, regional identifiers, minor formatting) are resolved based on the underlying real-world match identity. If a team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team or is ambiguous, the market resolves 50-50.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Technical Remake: If a game is remade due to technical issues, the original game does not count as a win toward the series. Only the remade game result counts. In-game objective markets resolve based on the remade game only.
  • Series Clinch Before Game 3: If one team clinches the series before Game 3 is needed (e.g., wins 2-0), Game 3 is not played. All Game 3 markets resolve to 50-50.
  • Incomplete Game with Objectives Met: If a game begins but does not complete (e.g., surrender at 25 minutes), in-game objective markets resolve based on what was achieved before stoppage. If both teams had slain Baron before the game ended, Both Teams Slay Baron resolves Yes; if not, it resolves No.
  • No Kills Recorded: If a game is completed but records zero total kills, the Odd/Even Total Kills market resolves 50-50.
  • Forfeit Before Match Start: If one team forfeits, is disqualified, or walks away before the match begins, the series resolves to 50-50 (not to the other team). This differs from in-match forfeits, which resolve to the winning team.
Timing: Series resolution occurs when the match concludes (either by series completion, cancellation, or 7-day delay threshold). Individual game markets resolve when that game concludes. In-game objective markets resolve when the game concludes or when the series is clinched (making further games unnecessary). Resolution source (gol.gg) must publish within 2 hours of event conclusion; if not, consensus reporting is used. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Frequently asked questions

This dashboard aggregates prediction market activity across multiple venues for the LUA Gaming vs UB Alma Mater LoL match, a best-of-three contest in the LES Regular Season. Traders on Polymarket and Opinion are currently pricing outcomes related to match performance and game totals. The combined volume of $170,059 reflects interest across both platforms, with 24-hour volume at $43,925. By tracking these cross-platform prices, you can see real-time consensus on how the matchup is expected to unfold and spot divergences between venues that may signal value.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market's odds reflect what thousands of independent traders believe will happen, often incorporating real-time information faster than sportsbooks adjust their lines. Prediction market prices tend to be more efficient for niche esports matchups like this one, where sportsbook coverage may be limited or updated less frequently.

Polymarket and Opinion can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures, all of which influence how prices settle. Polymarket and Opinion may also feature slightly different market formulations—for instance, one venue might emphasize match winner while the other focuses on game totals. Timing of information flow, regional trader participation, and platform-specific incentives can cause temporary price gaps. These divergences create arbitrage opportunities for sharp traders and are a normal feature of multi-venue prediction markets.

Key catalysts include roster changes, recent team performance trends, and head-to-head matchup history. Injury announcements, coaching decisions, or patch updates affecting champion viability can shift trader sentiment significantly. Live scrimmage results or public statements from players and analysts may also influence prices as the match date approaches. Monitor LES standings, team social media, and esports news outlets for developments that could alter expectations around this matchup's outcome.
