Description

This market refers to the LoL match between LNG Esports and EDward Gaming in the LPL Group Nirvana, initially scheduled for April 10 at 5:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "LNG Esports" if LNG Esports win the match against EDward Gaming. This market will resolve to "EDward Gaming" if EDward Gaming win the match against LNG Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi and Polymarket use fundamentally incompatible resolution scopes. Kalshi resolves based on whether either team wins the LPL 2026 championship (a season-level outcome), while Polymarket resolves based on individual game results within this specific BO3 match. These are logically independent events that cannot both be true simultaneously.

Hero Tip:

Do not trade across these platforms expecting consistent outcomes. A Kalshi YES (either team wins LPL 2026) tells you nothing about Polymarket Game 2 Winner or Games Total O/U 2.5. Kalshi's market is fundamentally unresolvable as written because it conflates championship success with match participation.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi:

Outlier: Kalshi's two markets both resolve YES if either EDward Gaming OR LNG Esports wins the LPL 2026 championship, regardless of the outcome of the April 10 BO3 match itself. The resolution rule states 'If EDward Gaming wins the LPL 2026: ... match ... then the market resolves to Yes' and 'If LNG Esports wins the LPL 2026: ... match ... then the market resolves to Yes.' This creates a logical contradiction: both markets resolve YES under overlapping conditions, and neither market can resolve NO unless both teams fail to win the entire LPL 2026 season.
  • Polymarket:

Aligned with standard esports settlement practice: Polymarket resolves all markets based on the actual outcome of the April 10 BO3 match and individual games within it. Game 2 Winner resolves to the team that wins Game 2; Games Total O/U 2.5 resolves based on how many games are actually played; Game 1 Winner resolves to the team that wins Game 1. Each market has a single, deterministic outcome tied to match performance, not season-level championship results. Primary source is gol.gg/esports/home with 2-hour fallback to credible reporting.
