Description

This market refers to the LoL match between Leviatan Esports and Vivo Keyd Stars in the CBLOL Regular Season, initially scheduled for April 26 at 3:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Leviatan Esports" if Leviatan Esports win the match against Vivo Keyd Stars. This market will resolve to "Vivo Keyd Stars" if Vivo Keyd Stars win the match against Leviatan Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Issue:

Polymarket provides comprehensive, game-level resolution logic with explicit edge-case handling (forfeits, walkovers, cancellations, remakes, delays >7 days). Kalshi provides only a binary outcome (Yes if either team wins) with no conditional logic, no forfeit/walkover handling, and no delay/cancellation specification.

Hero Tip:

Polymarket traders should prioritize the gol.gg official source with a 2-hour publication window and rely on the explicit forfeit-counting rule (if match completed). Kalshi traders must assume the market resolves Yes only if a decisive match result is published; clarify with the platform whether forfeits, walkovers, or cancellations trigger Yes, No, or void. Polymarket's 35 markets provide granular redundancy; Kalshi's binary structure does not.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Polymarket: Comprehensive resolution framework across 35 markets. Series outcome resolves based on match completion: Vivo Keyd wins if they win 2+ games (handicap -1.5), otherwise Leviatan wins. Forfeits/walkovers/defaults count if match is completed; if match not completed or delayed >7 days, resolves 50-50. Game-level markets (winner, kills, objectives) resolve based on game completion; if game not played due to series clinch, resolves 50-50. Primary source: gol.gg within 2 hours; fallback to credible reporting and video evidence. Key quote: 'Games won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default are counted towards the handicap, provided that the match is completed.'
  • Kalshi: Minimal binary framework. Resolves Yes if Leviatan Esports wins OR if Vivo Keyd Stars wins the match. No conditional logic for forfeits, walkovers, cancellations, delays, or incomplete matches. No specification of resolution source or publication timeline. Key quote: 'If Leviatan Esports wins the CBLOL 2026... match... then the market resolves to Yes. If Vivo Keyd Stars wins... then the market resolves to Yes.'
