Description

This market refers to the LoL match between KT Rolster Challengers and T1 Academy in the LCK Challengers League Rounds 1-2, initially scheduled for April 28 at 6:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "KT Rolster Challengers" if KT Rolster Challengers win the match against T1 Academy. This market will resolve to "T1 Academy" if T1 Academy win the match against KT Rolster Challengers. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi's match winner market (Q34) resolves to 50-50 for any forfeit/disqualification/walkover, while Polymarket's series-level markets (Games Total, Game Handicap) count forfeit wins toward the total if the match is completed. This creates conflicting guidance for mid-series forfeits.

Hero Tip:

If a team forfeits mid-series (e.g., after Game 1), Kalshi Q34 may resolve 50-50 while Polymarket's Games Total and Game Handicap markets count the forfeit win. Traders should monitor official LCK Challengers League announcements and gol.gg for clarification on whether a series-clinching forfeit is treated as a completed match.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi:

Match winner (Q34) resolves to 50-50 if match ends in forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before start and other wins automatically). If match begins but is not completed and one team wins due to opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover, resolves to the winning team. Key quote: 'If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50.'
  • Polymarket:

Series-level markets (Games Total O/U 2.5, Game Handicap) count games won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default toward the total, provided the match is completed. Game-level markets resolve 50-50 if the game is not completed for any reason. Key quote: 'Games won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default are counted towards the handicap, provided that the match is completed.'
