However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds on this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to community-driven pricing and unique betting mechanics. While sportsbooks may set a spread or moneyline based on analytics and historical data, prediction markets incorporate real-time trader sentiment and can price in nuanced outcomes or shifts in team form. This can lead to more volatile or divergent odds, especially as new information emerges in the days leading up to the match.
On Polymarket and Predict, prices can vary because each platform attracts different user bases and liquidity depths. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, one venue might see heavier betting from fans familiar with team rosters, while another could reflect broader public sentiment. These differences in participation, along with distinct fee structures and market design, often cause the platforms to price this market differently, even when tracking the same event outcome.
Key signals such as player injuries, coaching changes, or recent performance in practice scrimmages could shift this market. Updates on team strategies, lineup announcements, or even early game performance once the series starts may cause rapid adjustments in trader sentiment. Any unexpected developments — like a star player being benched — often trigger noticeable movement in odds across Polymarket and Predict before the final outcome is known.
