Description

This market refers to the LoL match between KT Rolster Challengers and Dplus KIA Challengers in the LCK Challengers League Rounds 1-2, initially scheduled for April 6 at 5:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "KT Rolster Challengers" if KT Rolster Challengers win the match against Dplus KIA Challengers. This market will resolve to "Dplus KIA Challengers" if Dplus KIA Challengers win the match against KT Rolster Challengers. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi and Polymarket use fundamentally incompatible resolution logics. Kalshi's markets (items 1-2) resolve to YES if EITHER team wins the match, making them logically contradictory and unresolvable. Polymarket's markets (items 3-47) resolve based on specific match outcomes, game-level statistics, and objective criteria with coherent conditional logic.

Hero Tip:

Kalshi's match-winner markets are structurally broken: both resolve YES regardless of outcome, creating a logical impossibility. Do not trade these markets. Polymarket's markets are resolvable and follow standard esports settlement practices with clear sources (gol.gg) and 2-hour fallback provisions. Trade only on Polymarket if you engage with this event group.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Outlier: Kalshi's two markets (items 1-2) both state 'If [Team A] wins... then the market resolves to Yes' AND 'If [Team B] wins... then the market resolves to Yes', creating a logical contradiction where the market must resolve YES regardless of which team actually wins. This makes both Kalshi markets fundamentally unresolvable and contradicts basic settlement logic. No other platform in this group uses this structure.
  • Polymarket: Distinct stance: Polymarket provides 45 coherent, mutually exclusive markets with clear resolution criteria tied to specific game outcomes, objective in-game statistics (kills, objectives, multikills), and conditional logic. Each market resolves to a single outcome based on verifiable match data from gol.gg with a 2-hour fallback to credible reporting. Markets are logically consistent and resolvable.
