PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi and Polymarket use fundamentally incompatible resolution frameworks. Kalshi resolves based on LCK Challengers League 2026 tournament outcome (winner of the league), while Polymarket resolves based on the specific BO3 match result and individual game metrics. These are logically independent events with no guaranteed correlation.

Hero Tip:

If you trade on Kalshi, you are betting on who wins the entire LCK Challengers League 2026 tournament, NOT the specific April 2 match. If you trade on Polymarket, you are betting on the April 2 match outcome and in-game statistics. A team can win the April 2 match but lose the tournament, or vice versa. Do not assume Kalshi and Polymarket markets will resolve to the same outcome.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Outlier: Kalshi resolves YES if either DRX Challengers OR KT Rolster Challengers wins the entire LCK Challengers League 2026 tournament. The specific April 2 match is mentioned only as a reference point for identification. Key quote: 'If DRX Challengers wins the LCK Challengers League 2026: KT Rolster Challengers vs. DRX Challengers League of Legends match originally scheduled for Apr 2, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes. If KT Rolster Challengers wins the LCK Challengers League 2026... then the market resolves to Yes.' This means Kalshi resolves YES regardless of which team wins, as long as one of them wins the league.
  • Polymarket: Distinct stance: Polymarket contains 11 separate markets, each resolving independently based on the specific April 2 BO3 match and individual game outcomes. Markets include series winner, game winners, game-specific metrics (inhibitors, dragons, baron, kills, penta/quadra kills), and series handicap. Key quote: 'This market refers to the LoL match between Kiwoom DRX Challengers and KT Rolster Challengers in the LCK Challengers League Rounds 1-2, initially scheduled for April 2 at 1:00AM ET.' Polymarket resolves based on match-specific data from gol.gg, not tournament-wide outcomes.
