This market refers to the LoL match between Kaufland Hangry Knights and Team Orange Gaming in the Prime League 1st Division Regular Season, initially scheduled for July 8 at 1:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Kaufland Hangry Knights" if Kaufland Hangry Knights win the match against Team Orange Gaming. This market will resolve to "Team Orange Gaming" if Team Orange Gaming win the match against Kaufland Hangry Knights. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate the collective beliefs of traders risking real capital. For this market, comparing the implied probability here to consensus sportsbook lines can reveal whether professional oddsmakers and decentralized traders agree on the likely outcome, or whether one venue sees value the other has missed.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the aggregate confidence of all participants—higher prices indicate stronger collective belief in that result. As new information emerges about team form, roster changes, or match conditions, traders adjust their positions, causing prices to shift and the implied probability to update in real time.
This market resolves around Jul 8, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by which team wins the best-of-one contest in the Prime League 1st Division Regular Season. Resolution occurs after the official match result is confirmed, ensuring accuracy before traders' positions are settled.
Key catalysts include roster announcements, player injuries or substitutions, recent team performance trends, and head-to-head historical matchups. Pre-match commentary from analysts and team statements can shift trader sentiment. In-game developments—if live trading is enabled—such as early kills, objective control, or momentum swings may also trigger significant price movements. News about meta shifts in the broader League of Legends competitive scene could influence expectations for both teams' playstyles and win probability.
