This market refers to the LoL match between Kaufland Hangry Knights and E WIE EINFACH E-SPORTS in the Prime League 1st Division Regular Season, initially scheduled for July 2 at 12:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Kaufland Hangry Knights" if Kaufland Hangry Knights win the match against E WIE EINFACH E-SPORTS. This market will resolve to "E WIE EINFACH E-SPORTS" if E WIE EINFACH E-SPORTS win the match against Kaufland Hangry Knights. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one price outcomes through open trading among participants seeking to profit from accurate forecasting. Traders here may incorporate deeper League of Legends analysis, team form, and meta shifts than mainstream sportsbooks prioritize. Comparing the two can reveal where public perception and informed prediction markets disagree, offering insight into undervalued or overvalued outcomes.
On Polymarket, traders set the price of this market through continuous buying and selling of outcome shares, with the current price reflecting the probability implied by recent transactions. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more capital flowing toward one outcome, the higher its price climbs; conversely, skepticism or new information can drive prices lower. This dynamic pricing mechanism means odds update in real time as fresh analysis, team news, or betting activity emerges, allowing participants to enter or exit positions at prices that match their conviction about the match result.
This market resolves around Jul 2, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by which team wins the best-of-one encounter in the Prime League 1st Division Regular Season. Resolution hinges on the official match result, confirmed through established League of Legends competitive sources and the platform's standard verification process.
Several catalysts could shift odds before resolution. Roster changes, player injuries, or unexpected roster swaps involving either team would likely trigger sharp repricing. In-game meta shifts or patch updates affecting champion viability could alter perceived matchup strength. Recent performance streaks, head-to-head records, and playoff positioning within the Prime League standings all influence trader conviction. Additionally, public statements from coaches, analyst commentary, or leaked scrim results often spark trading activity. Any news suggesting one team's preparation level or form advantage will ripple through the market immediately.
