This market refers to the LoL match between Kaufland Hangry Knights and BIG in the Prime League 1st Division Regular Season, initially scheduled for July 1 at 3:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Kaufland Hangry Knights" if Kaufland Hangry Knights win the match against BIG. This market will resolve to "BIG" if BIG win the match against Kaufland Hangry Knights. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets like this one aggregate the collective beliefs of traders who have real money at stake. Prediction markets frequently offer sharper, more efficient pricing on niche esports events where sportsbook coverage is limited. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbooks can reveal whether traders are pricing outcomes more optimistically or pessimistically than the betting public. This divergence often signals valuable information for informed bettors.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts odds based on the balance of buy and sell orders from traders. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the aggregate confidence of all participants; as more traders buy or sell a given outcome, the price shifts to incentivize equilibrium. Liquidity pools determine how much slippage occurs on larger trades, so deeper pools allow bigger positions with minimal price impact. Real-time price discovery means odds update continuously as new information emerges about team form, roster changes, or match conditions. This mechanism ensures the market price stays responsive to evolving expectations.
This market resolves around Jul 2, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the final score and confirmed through official League sources or widely recognized esports databases. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the match ending, allowing traders to settle positions promptly. Until that point, prices may fluctuate based on live match events, team performance, and emerging circumstances. Early resolution is possible if circumstances make the outcome mathematically certain before the final whistle.
Team roster announcements, player injuries, or last-minute lineup changes can trigger sharp price swings in this market. Pre-match scrims or recent tournament results often shift trader sentiment as new performance data emerges. Coaching changes or strategic adjustments revealed in interviews may influence expectations about playstyle matchups. Live match events—early kills, objective control, or momentum shifts—will drive continuous repricing as the game unfolds. Media coverage highlighting underdog potential or favorite vulnerabilities can also sway collective opinion. Monitor team social media and esports news outlets for catalysts that reshape the competitive landscape.
