Description

This market refers to the LoL match between JD Gaming and Invictus Gaming in the LPL Group Ascend, initially scheduled for April 24 at 7:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "JD Gaming" if JD Gaming win the match against Invictus Gaming. This market will resolve to "Invictus Gaming" if Invictus Gaming win the match against JD Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Issue:

Polymarket defines comprehensive multi-game resolution rules with detailed forfeit, remake, and incomplete-match handling across 25 markets; Kalshi provides only a single binary market on Game 2 outcome with minimal resolution detail. The platforms cover different scopes and granularity levels.

Hero Tip:

If you trade on Polymarket, you have granular exposure to individual game outcomes, objective metrics (dragons, barons, kills), and series-level handicaps. Kalshi offers only a single binary on whether Game 2 is played at all (resolves YES if either team wins Game 2). Your Kalshi position has no upside if Game 2 is not played; Polymarket Game 2 markets resolve 50-50 in that scenario. Diversify across platforms only if you want both granular and binary exposure.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Polymarket: 25 distinct markets covering: series winner, individual game winners (Games 1-3), game-level objectives (dragons, barons, inhibitors, kills, penta/quadra kills, first blood, odd/even kills), series totals (O/U 2.5 games), and handicap betting. Each market has detailed resolution rules addressing cancellation (50-50 if no play or >7 days delay), incomplete games (50-50 unless specific completion criteria met), forfeits/walkovers (50-50 for series; game-specific rules vary), and remakes (resolution based on remade game). Primary source: gol.gg/esports/home with 2-hour fallback to credible reporting. Quote: 'If the match is canceled (not played at all for any reason), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50.'
  • Kalshi: Single binary market: 'If Invictus Gaming wins map 2 in the LPL 2026: Invictus Gaming vs. JD Gaming League of Legends match originally scheduled for Apr 24, 2026 at 7:00 AM EDT, then the market resolves to Yes. If JD Gaming wins map 2 in the LPL 2026: Invictus Gaming vs. JD Gaming League of Legends match originally scheduled for Apr 24, 2026 at 7:00 AM EDT, then the market resolves to Yes.' This market resolves YES if either team wins Game 2, implying it resolves NO only if Game 2 is not played. No explicit handling of cancellation, delay, forfeit, or remake scenarios is provided. Quote: 'If Invictus Gaming wins map 2... then the market resolves to Yes. If JD Gaming wins map 2... then the market resolves to Yes.'
