In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds, such as those found on Polymarket and Predict for this market, often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders. This can differ from sportsbook odds, which are typically set by a smaller team of professionals. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like public betting percentages and risk management more heavily, while prediction markets tend to focus on the perceived probability of an event occurring. This market’s volume of $383,040 suggests active trading and a potentially efficient price discovery process, which may or may not align with traditional sportsbooks.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Unexpected news regarding player health, team strategies, or even changes to the game itself could all impact perceived probabilities. In-game performance during the series, such as dominant early wins or surprising comebacks, would likely cause significant price movement. Major upsets in other related matches within the Circuito Desafiante Playoffs could also indirectly affect confidence in either team, leading to shifts in volume and price as traders react to new information.
