Intro

This market tracks whether any player will achieve a quadra kill (eliminating four enemy champions in quick succession) during Game 5 of the Hanwha Life Esports versus Team Secret Whales Best-of-5 match in the Mid-Season Invitational Playoffs Upper Bracket Quarterfinal. The aggregated consensus across Polymarket and Kalshi stands at 100.0%, reflecting the certainty assigned by prediction market participants. Resolution will be determined by the Official gol.gg esports database, with credible reporting and video evidence accepted if gol.gg does not publish within 2 hours of event conclusion. Watch for the match scheduled on July 2, 2026 at 11:00 PM ET to see if this rare play materializes in the deciding game.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Kalshi apply identical series completion requirements, the same 7-day delay threshold, gol.gg as primary source with credible reporting fallback, and consistent 50-50 resolution for forfeits, walkovers, and unplayed games due to series clinch.Primary resolution logic: Official gol.gg esports database (https://gol.gg/esports/home); credible reporting and video evidence accepted if gol.gg does not publish within 2 hours of event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Series must be completed (not canceled, not forfeited before start, not delayed beyond 7 days without a winner) for any market to resolve to a team outcome.
  • Series outcomes (match winner, game handicaps) resolve to the team with the higher game count; games won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward the total if the match is completed.
  • Individual game winners resolve based on the completed game result; if a game is not completed, that market resolves 50-50.
  • In-game objective markets (dragons, barons, inhibitors, multikills, first blood, kill counts) resolve only if the specified game is played and completed; if the game is not played due to series clinch or forfeit, the market resolves 50-50.
  • If a game begins but is not completed and ends via surrender, in-game objective markets resolve based on whether the condition was met prior to stoppage; if not met, resolve to No (or 50-50 for first blood if it did not occur).
  • If the clinching game is forfeited, the match is considered completed and the series outcome resolves to the team that clinched; in-game markets for that forfeited game resolve 50-50.
  • Remakes resolve based on the remade game only; any events in the original game are disregarded.
  • If no kills are recorded in a game, Odd/Even kill markets resolve 50-50.
  • Penta kills and Quadra kills include any such achievement by either team; Penta kills also count toward Quadra kill markets.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Series Clinch Before Game Played: If a team clinches the series before a game is scheduled (e.g., wins 3-0 in a BO5, making Game 4 unnecessary), all markets for that unplayed game resolve 50-50. This applies to dragon, baron, inhibitor, multikill, first blood, and kill-count markets.
  • Forfeit or Walkover at Series Level: If a team forfeits or walks away before the series begins, or if the series is canceled entirely, all markets resolve 50-50. Exception: if the clinching game itself is forfeited (team wins 3-1, then Game 5 is forfeited), the series outcome resolves to the clinching team, but Game 5 in-game markets resolve 50-50.
  • Delay Beyond 7 Days: If the match is delayed more than 7 days from the scheduled July 2 date without a winner determined, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • Game Remake: If a game is remade, all resolution is based on the remade game only. Events in the original game are disregarded. First blood is resolved based on the remade game; if first blood did not occur in the original but does in the remake, the remake result stands.
  • Incomplete Game with Surrender: If a game begins but is not completed and ends via surrender, in-game objective markets resolve based on whether the condition was met prior to stoppage. If the condition was not met, resolve to No (or 50-50 for first blood if it did not occur). Series outcome markets resolve 50-50 if the match is not completed.
Timing: Resolution occurs within 2 hours of the match conclusion (or individual game conclusion for game-specific markets). If gol.gg does not publish within 2 hours, credible reporting and video evidence are used. Series-level markets resolve after the final game is played; game-level markets resolve after that specific game is completed. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market refers to the LoL Upper bracket quarterfinal 3 match between Hanwha Life Esports and Team Secret Whales in the Mid-Season Invitational Playoffs, initially scheduled for July 2 at 11:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Hanwha Life Esports" if Hanwha Life Esports win the match against Team Secret Whales. This market will resolve to "Team Secret Whales" if Team Secret Whales win the match against Hanwha Life Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction markets like those tracked here operate on real-money trading rather than fixed odds set by a bookmaker. Traders buy and sell shares tied to outcomes, allowing prices to float based on supply and demand. This mechanism often reflects sharper, more dynamic pricing than traditional sportsbooks, especially for niche esports events where liquidity is concentrated among informed participants. Sportsbooks, by contrast, set fixed odds and manage risk through margin. For this matchup, comparing prediction market prices to available sportsbook lines can reveal whether one venue is undervaluing or overvaluing either team's chances.

Team roster changes, recent performance trends, and head-to-head records are key catalysts. Injury announcements or player substitutions could shift perceived win probability significantly. Pre-match commentary from analysts and community sentiment on social media often influence trader positioning. Patch updates to League of Legends that favor certain champions or playstyles may benefit one team over the other. Live match events—early game leads, objective control, and momentum swings—will drive intra-series price movement if this market remains active during gameplay. Monitor esports news outlets for any last-minute roster or meta developments.
