This event group covers a League of Legends Best-of-1 match between Hanwha Life Esports and MIBR.LOS at the Esports World Cup Group D, scheduled for July 15, 2026 at 8:30 AM ET. The group includes markets for match winner and Game 1 in-game statistics (Baron/Dragon/Inhibitor destruction, multi-kills, and kill parity).
This market refers to the LoL Upper bracket semifinal 1 match between Hanwha Life Esports and MIBR.LOS in the Esports World Cup Group D, initially scheduled for July 15 at 8:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "Hanwha Life Esports" if Hanwha Life Esports win the match against MIBR.LOS. This market will resolve to "MIBR.LOS" if MIBR.LOS win the match against Hanwha Life Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently because they operate under distinct incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets reflect aggregated trader beliefs in real time. Prediction market prices often react faster to breaking news and tend to be more efficient over longer horizons, since traders have direct financial exposure to accuracy. For esports events like this one, prediction markets can offer sharper odds than sportsbooks, especially on niche outcomes with lower mainstream attention.
Team roster changes, player injuries, or last-minute substitutions announced before the match can trigger sharp price swings. Recent tournament performance, head-to-head records, and patch updates affecting game balance are key catalysts traders monitor. Media reports on team form, coaching changes, or internal conflicts may also shift sentiment. As the match approaches, pre-game commentary and expert predictions often influence late-stage trading. Watch for sudden volume spikes, which often signal new information entering the market and creating repricing opportunities.
