Description

This market refers to the LoL match between Hanwha Life Esports and Gen.G in the LCK Rounds 1-2, initially scheduled for April 18 at 4:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Hanwha Life Esports" if Hanwha Life Esports win the match against Gen.G. This market will resolve to "Gen.G" if Gen.G win the match against Hanwha Life Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Kalshi resolve based on the outcome of the LoL match between Hanwha Life Esports and Gen.G scheduled for April 18, 2026 at 4:00 AM EDT, with identical winner determination logic and shared resolution source (gol.gg).

Primary resolution logic:

Official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home; if unavailable within 2 hours after event conclusion, consensus of credible reporting including video evidence.

Core resolution logic:

  • Polymarket series winner market resolves to the team that wins the best-of-3 match; Kalshi resolves YES if either Gen.G or Hanwha Life Esports wins (both outcomes resolve YES on Kalshi).
  • All game-specific markets (Game 1, 2, 3 winners and objective markets) resolve based on completed games only; if a game is not played due to series clinch, forfeit, or walkover, those markets resolve 50-50.
  • Matches canceled entirely, delayed beyond 7 days without play, or ending in forfeit/disqualification/walkover before series completion resolve 50-50 on Polymarket series market; Kalshi resolves YES only if a winner is determined through actual play.
  • Games won by forfeit, disqualification, or walkover count toward series totals and handicap calculations if the match is completed; if the match is incomplete due to these events, series markets resolve 50-50.
  • Objective markets (Baron, Dragon, Inhibitor, Kills, Multikills) require the specific game to be completed; if the game is remade, resolution is based on the remade game only.
  • Exactly one team will resolve as the series winner on Polymarket; on Kalshi, both possible outcomes (Gen.G win or Hanwha win) resolve YES, making it a binary confirmation market rather than a competitive selection.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Series Clinch Before Game 3: If one team wins 2-0, Game 3 is not played. All Game 3 markets resolve 50-50. Series winner market resolves to the team that won 2-0.
  • Game Remake: If any game is remade, all resolution for that game is based on the remade version only. Previous version data is disregarded.
  • Incomplete Game with Surrender: If a game begins but does not complete and ends via surrender, objective markets resolve based on what occurred prior to stoppage (e.g., Baron kills, inhibitor destruction, total kills). If the condition was not met before surrender, the market resolves NO.
  • Forfeit Mid-Series: If a team forfeits after the series has begun but before completion (e.g., after Game 1), the winning team receives the series win and markets resolve accordingly. If forfeit occurs before any games are played, series market resolves 50-50.
  • Delay Beyond 7 Days: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date (April 18, 2026) without a winner determined, all markets resolve 50-50.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon official announcement from gol.gg within 2 hours of event conclusion; if gol.gg does not publish, resolution uses consensus of credible reporting and video evidence. Series winner resolves when the match concludes with a winner. Game-specific markets resolve when that game concludes. Objective markets resolve based on in-game events recorded in the final game state.
