Prediction market odds often reflect sharper, more granular insights than traditional sportsbook lines because they are driven by continuous trader activity and can update minute-by-minute. For this market, prediction platforms may show tighter spreads and different implied probabilities than sportsbooks, especially as new information emerges from team form, player performance, or patch changes. The gap can also widen if one side of this market attracts heavy speculative interest.
Key signals that could shift this market include player injuries or roster changes, strategic patch updates affecting champion picks, and in-game performance trends from earlier matches in the group stage. Media narratives and analyst predictions also influence trader sentiment, especially if a team shows unexpected form. Any development that alters the perceived probability of a series sweep or a close contest may cause odds to adjust rapidly.
