Description

This market refers to the LoL match between Hanwha Life Esports Challengers and Kiwoom DRX Challengers in the LCK Challengers League Rounds 1-2, initially scheduled for April 7 at 6:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Hanwha Life Esports Challengers" if Hanwha Life Esports Challengers win the match against Kiwoom DRX Challengers. This market will resolve to "Kiwoom DRX Challengers" if Kiwoom DRX Challengers win the match against Hanwha Life Esports Challengers. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official match result from gol.gg, with identical treatment of forfeits, walkovers, disqualifications, and cancellations as 50-50 outcomes.

Primary resolution logic:

https://gol.gg/esports/home (official LCK Challengers League results); fallback to credible reporting with video evidence if gol.gg does not publish within 2 hours of match conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Series winner (Polymarket Q1, Kalshi): Resolves to the team that wins the best-of-3 series. If the series is canceled, ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days without a winner determined, resolves 50-50. If a team wins by forfeit, disqualification, or walkover after the match begins, that team wins. If a team forfeits before the match starts, resolves 50-50.
  • Individual game winners (Polymarket Q4-Q5): Each game resolves to the team that wins that specific game. If the game is not completed for any reason, resolves 50-50. If the series is canceled or delayed beyond 7 days, resolves 50-50.
  • Games total over/under 2.5 (Polymarket Q8): Resolves OVER if 3 or more games are played (including forfeits/walkovers/defaults if the match is completed). Resolves UNDER if fewer than 3 games are played. If the match is canceled, ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days without a winner determined, resolves 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed with one team winning by forfeit/disqualification/walkover, resolves 50-50.
  • Game handicap (Polymarket Q10): Resolves to Kiwoom DRX Challengers if they win 2 or more games than Hanwha Life Esports Challengers. Otherwise resolves to Hanwha Life Esports Challengers. If the match is canceled, ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days without a winner determined, resolves 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed with one team winning by forfeit/disqualification/walkover, resolves 50-50.
  • In-game objective markets (Polymarket Q12-Q47): All resolve based on whether the specified condition is met during the named game. If the game is not played (series already decided, forfeit, disqualification, walkover), resolves 50-50. If the game begins but is not completed, resolution is based on whether the condition was met prior to stoppage; if not met, resolves NO (or 50-50 for cancellation/7-day delay). Remakes are resolved based on the remade game only.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Forfeit/Disqualification Before Match Start: If a team forfeits, is disqualified, or walks away before the match begins, the series resolves 50-50 (not to the other team). However, if the match begins and one team later forfeits/is disqualified, the other team wins the series.
  • Series Clinch Before Game 3: If one team clinches the series 2-0 before Game 3 is played, all Game 3 markets (Q12-Q47) resolve 50-50 because Game 3 is not played.
  • Incomplete Game with Partial Objective Completion: If a game begins but does not complete (e.g., surrender at 25 minutes), objective markets resolve based on whether the condition was met before stoppage. If the condition was not met, the market resolves NO (not 50-50).
  • 7-Day Delay Without Winner: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date (April 7, 2026 at 6:00 AM ET) without a winner determined, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • Game Remake: If a game is remade, all resolution is based on the remade game only; the original game is disregarded.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon official publication of results on gol.gg. If gol.gg does not publish within 2 hours after the match concludes, credible reporting with video evidence may be used. For series-level markets, resolution is immediate upon series conclusion. For individual game and objective markets, resolution is immediate upon game conclusion or upon determination that the game will not be played.
