Description
This event group comprises 24 prediction markets covering a best-of-three League of Legends match between Hanwha Life Esports Challengers (HLE) and Dplus KIA Challengers (DK.C) in the LCK Challengers League, originally scheduled for April 23, 2026 at 1:00 AM EDT. Markets span match outcomes, individual game winners, objective control (Baron, Dragons, Inhibitors), player multikills (Penta/Quadra), kill totals (Odd/Even), and series handicaps. The primary resolution source across all markets is official data from https://gol.gg/esports/home, with credible reporting (including video evidence) as secondary source if GOL.GG does not publish within 2 hours of event conclusion.
Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi resolve based on the official match outcome from gol.gg, with identical winner determination logic and consistent handling of cancellations, delays, forfeits, and incomplete games.
Primary resolution logic:
Official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home; if unavailable within 2 hours post-event, credible reporting and video evidence may be used as consensus backup.
Core resolution logic:
Series Winner (BO3): Resolves to the team winning 2 games first. Forfeit/disqualification/walkover by opponent results in series resolution to the winning team. If match is canceled, delayed beyond 7 days without play, or ends in a tie, resolves 50-50.
Individual Game Winners (Game 1, 2, 3): Resolves to the team winning that specific game. If a game is not completed for any reason, resolves 50-50. If a game is never played due to series clinch, forfeit, or walkover, resolves 50-50.
Objective-Based Markets (Baron, Dragon, Inhibitor, Penta/Quadra Kills, Odd/Even Kills): Resolves YES/NO based on whether the specified condition occurred during the named game. If the game is not completed, resolves based on what occurred prior to stoppage; if the condition was not met, resolves NO. If the game is never played, resolves 50-50.
Games Total (O/U 2.5): Resolves OVER if 3+ games are played, UNDER if fewer than 3 games are played. Forfeits and walkovers count toward the total if the match is completed. If match is canceled or delayed beyond 7 days without completion, resolves 50-50.
Handicap Markets: Resolves based on the game differential (e.g., HLE -1.5 resolves YES if HLE wins 2+ more games than DK.C). Forfeits and walkovers count toward the differential if the match is completed. If match is canceled, delayed beyond 7 days, or incomplete with a walkover/forfeit, resolves 50-50.
Kalshi Match Winner: Resolves YES if either team wins the match (i.e., the match is played and completed with a winner). Implicitly resolves NO if the match is not played or is canceled.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Series Clinch Before Game Completion: If a team clinches the series before Game 3 is needed (e.g., 2-0 series lead), Game 3 markets resolve 50-50 because the game is never played. This applies to all Game 3-specific markets (Baron, Dragon, Inhibitor, Penta/Quadra, Odd/Even Kills).
Game Remake: If a game is remade due to technical issues or other causes, resolution is based solely on the remade game, not the original.
Incomplete Game with Surrender: If a game begins but ends via surrender before completion, objective and kill markets resolve based on what occurred prior to surrender. If the condition was not met before surrender, the market resolves NO.
Execution vs. Champion Kill: For Odd/Even Total Kills markets, only champion-to-champion kills count. Executions (deaths to turrets, minions, or neutral monsters with no enemy champion receiving credit) do not count toward the kill total.
Delay Beyond 7 Days: If the match is delayed more than 7 days from the scheduled date (April 23, 2026 at 1:00 AM ET) without play beginning, all markets resolve 50-50.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official announcement from gol.gg within 2 hours of event conclusion. For game-specific markets, resolution timing is tied to the completion or non-completion of that individual game. For series-level markets, resolution occurs when the series winner is determined (first team to 2 wins).
