In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect crowd-sourced probabilities rather than set operator margins. On platforms like Polymarket and Predict, prices adjust continuously based on trader activity, which can create tighter spreads or sharper divergences compared to fixed sportsbook odds. For this market, the crowd-driven approach may highlight subtle shifts in team form or roster changes that sportsbooks might not fully capture at any given moment.
On Polymarket and Predict, prices can vary due to differences in user bases, liquidity depth, and trading behavior. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, one platform might attract more fans of a specific team, skewing its odds toward that side. Additionally, each venue may have unique listing structures or fee models that influence how traders place bets, leading to divergent probabilities even when both platforms are tracking the same underlying event.
