Description

This market refers to the LoL match between GIANTX and Natus Vincere in the LEC Regular Season, initially scheduled for April 18 at 11:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "GIANTX" if GIANTX win the match against Natus Vincere. This market will resolve to "Natus Vincere" if Natus Vincere win the match against GIANTX. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Kalshi resolve based on the outcome of the LoL match between GIANTX and Natus Vincere, with identical winner determination logic and shared resolution source (gol.gg).Primary resolution logic: Official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home, with fallback to consensus of credible reporting and video evidence if gol.gg has not published results within 2 hours of event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • The match resolves to the team that wins the best-of-three series (first to 2 game wins).
  • All game-specific markets (Game 1 Winner, Game 2 Winner, etc.) resolve based on the outcome of the completed game, or 50-50 if the game is not completed.
  • Series-level markets (Match Winner, Games Total O/U 2.5, Game Handicap) resolve based on the final series result or 50-50 if the series is canceled, not played, or delayed beyond 7 days without play beginning.
  • If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins via opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover during play, the series resolves to the winning team; if a forfeit occurs before play begins, the market resolves 50-50.
  • In-game objective markets (Baron, Dragon, Inhibitor, Kill counts, Penta/Quadra Kills) resolve based on game-state data at the time of game completion or surrender, or 50-50 if the game is not played or not completed.
  • If a game is remade, resolution is based on the remade game only.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Forfeit During Series Play: If the match begins but is not completed and one team wins due to opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover, series-level markets resolve to the winning team. However, game-specific markets for unplayed games resolve 50-50.
  • Forfeit Before Series Play: If a team forfeits, is disqualified, or walks over before any games are played, all markets (series and game-specific) resolve 50-50.
  • Series Clinch Before Game Completion: If a team clinches the series before Game 3 is needed (e.g., wins 2-0), Game 3-specific markets resolve 50-50 as the game is not played.
  • Delay Beyond 7 Days: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date (April 18, 2026) without play beginning, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • In-Game Objective on Incomplete Game: If a game begins but does not complete via surrender, in-game objective markets (Baron, Dragon, Inhibitor, Kill counts) resolve based on the state at stoppage; if the condition is not met, markets resolve NO or 50-50 per specific rules.
Timing: Resolution occurs upon official publication by gol.gg within 2 hours of event conclusion; if delayed beyond 2 hours, consensus of credible reporting and video evidence is used. Series-level markets resolve upon determination of the series winner; game-specific markets resolve upon completion of the respective game. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms.
