Description

This market refers to the LoL match between GIANTX and Fnatic in the LEC Group Stage, initially scheduled for March 28 at 9:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "GIANTX" if GIANTX win the match against Fnatic. This market will resolve to "Fnatic" if Fnatic win the match against GIANTX. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi and Polymarket use fundamentally incompatible resolution frameworks. Kalshi resolves based on match outcome (winner of the BO3 series), while Polymarket resolves based on in-game objective metrics (dragon kills, baron kills, kill counts, inhibitor destruction, multi-kills) across individual games. These are entirely different settlement universes with no logical overlap.

Hero Tip:

Do not cross-trade between Kalshi and Polymarket markets in this group. Kalshi bets are about series winner; Polymarket bets are about specific in-game events. A Kalshi YES (GIANTX wins series) tells you nothing about whether both teams will slay a dragon in Game 1 on Polymarket. Treat them as separate prediction markets with separate data sources and outcomes.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi:

Distinct stance: Kalshi resolves on series outcome only. Both markets (Fnatic wins LEC 2026 match and GIANTX wins LEC 2026 match) resolve YES if either team wins the BO3 series scheduled for Mar 28, 2026. Source is official LEC results. Quote: 'If Fnatic wins the LEC 2026: Fnatic vs. GIANTX League of Legends match originally scheduled for Mar 28, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes.' This is a winner-take-all binary on series result, with no game-level granularity.
  • Polymarket:

Distinct stance: Polymarket resolves on granular in-game metrics across all three games: dragon kills (Games 1, 2, 3), baron kills (Games 1, 2, 3), inhibitor destruction (Games 1, 2, 3), multi-kills (Quadra/Penta in Games 1, 2, 3), total kill counts (Games 1, 2), odd/even kill parity (Games 1, 2, 3), first blood (Games 1, 2), and series length (O/U 2.5 games). Source is gol.gg/esports/home. Quote: 'This market is about whether both teams slay at least one elemental dragon during Game 1.' Each market is independent; series winner is irrelevant to in-game objective outcomes.
