Description

This market refers to the LoL match between Gen.G Global Academy and T1 Academy in the LCK Challengers League Rounds 1-2, initially scheduled for April 9 at 1:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Gen.G Global Academy" if Gen.G Global Academy win the match against T1 Academy. This market will resolve to "T1 Academy" if T1 Academy win the match against Gen.G Global Academy. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Kalshi and Polymarket both resolve all markets based on official gol.gg data, with identical logic for series outcomes, individual game winners, game totals, and in-game objectives, with fallback to credible reporting if gol.gg does not publish within 2 hours of event conclusion.

Primary resolution logic:

Official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home; credible reporting and video evidence if gol.gg does not publish final results within 2 hours after event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Series winner (Kalshi Over 2.5 maps / Polymarket match winner) resolves based on which team wins the best-of-3 series; forfeits, disqualifications, and walkovers count as completed matches if a series winner is determined.
  • Individual game winners (Game 1, Game 2) resolve based on which team wins that specific game; if a game is not completed for any reason, that market resolves 50-50.
  • Games Total Over/Under 2.5 resolves Over if 3 or more games are played, Under if fewer than 3 games are played; games won by forfeit, disqualification, or walkover count toward the total if the match is completed.
  • Game Handicap T1 Academy (-1.5) resolves to T1 Academy if T1 wins 2 or more games than Gen.G; otherwise resolves to Gen.G Global Academy.
  • In-game objectives (Baron, Dragon, Inhibitor) resolve Yes if both teams achieve the objective at least once during that game; resolve No if either or both teams do not achieve it; resolve 50-50 if the game is not played or not completed.
  • Quadra Kill and Penta Kill markets resolve Yes if any player on either team achieves the kill; resolve No if no player achieves it; resolve 50-50 if the game is not played or not completed.
  • Odd/Even Total Kills resolves based on the sum of all champion kills by both teams; executions do not count; resolves 50-50 if no kills are recorded or the game is not played.
  • If the match is canceled, not played at all, ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days without a winner determined, all series-level markets resolve 50-50.
  • If a game is not played because the series result has already been clinched, all game-specific markets for that game resolve 50-50.
  • If a match begins but is not completed due to forfeit, disqualification, or walkover before a series winner is determined, series-level markets resolve 50-50; game-specific markets resolve based on whether that specific game was completed.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Series Clinch Before Game 3: If one team wins 2 games and clinches the series before Game 3 is played, all Game 3 markets (Baron, Dragon, Inhibitor, Quadra Kill, Penta Kill, Odd/Even Kills) resolve 50-50 because the game is not played due to series determination.
  • Incomplete Game with Objective Achieved: If a game begins but does not complete via surrender, and both teams had already slain Baron/Dragon/Inhibitor prior to stoppage, those markets resolve Yes; if the condition was not met before stoppage, they resolve No.
  • Forfeit or Walkover at Series Level: If a team forfeits or walks before the match starts and the other team wins automatically, series-level markets resolve 50-50; if a forfeit occurs mid-series after at least one game is completed, the series result (if determined) is counted.
  • Game Remake: If any game is remade, resolution is based on the remade game only; the original game is disregarded for all objective and kill-count markets.
  • Delayed Match Beyond 7 Days: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date (April 9, 2026 at 1:00 AM EDT) without a winner determined, all markets resolve 50-50.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon official publication by gol.gg within 2 hours after the event's conclusion; if gol.gg does not publish within 2 hours, credible reporting and video evidence may be used. Series-level markets resolve when a winner is determined (one team wins 2 games); game-specific markets resolve upon completion of that individual game.
