Description

This market refers to the LoL Grand final match between Galions and Solary in the EMEA Masters Playoffs, initially scheduled for April 21 at 11:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Galions" if Galions win the match against Solary. This market will resolve to "Solary" if Solary win the match against Galions. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Kalshi resolve based on the outcome of the LoL match between Galions and Solary in the EMEA Masters Playoffs, with consistent winner-determination logic and identical cancellation/delay thresholds (7 days without completion).

Primary resolution logic:

Official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home, with fallback to credible reporting and video evidence if results are not published within 2 hours of event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Match-winner markets (Polymarket Q1, Kalshi Q1-2) resolve YES to the team that wins the best-of-5 series.
  • Individual game-winner markets (Polymarket Q4-6, Q34, Q54) resolve YES to the team that wins that specific game, or 50-50 if the game is not completed.
  • Handicap markets (Polymarket Q8-10, Q30-32) resolve based on the margin of victory: GAL (-1.5) wins if Galions win by 2+ games; SLY (-1.5) wins if Solary win by 2+ games; otherwise the opposing team wins.
  • In-game objective markets (Baron, Dragon, Inhibitor, Kill counts, Quadra/Penta kills, First Blood) resolve based on whether the specified condition occurs during the named game, or 50-50 if the game is not played or not completed.
  • Series-length markets (O/U 3.5, O/U 4.5) resolve based on total games played: Over if 4+ games (3.5) or 5+ games (4.5), Under otherwise.
  • If the match is canceled, ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days without a winner determined, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • If a team wins via opponent forfeit, disqualification, or walkover before the series is complete, match-winner markets resolve 50-50; if the series is clinched via forfeit, it counts as a completed match.
  • Games won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward handicap and series-length calculations, provided the match is completed.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Series Clinch via Forfeit: If the clinching game is forfeited (e.g., team wins 3-1 when Game 4 is forfeited), the match is treated as completed and handicap/series-length markets resolve based on the final game count.
  • Game Not Played Due to Series Conclusion: If a series is decided before a particular game is needed (e.g., a team wins 3-0 and Game 4 is never played), all markets tied to that game resolve 50-50.
  • Incomplete Game with Objective Achieved: If a game begins but does not complete (e.g., surrender at 25 minutes), in-game objective markets resolve based on what occurred prior to stoppage; if the condition was not met, they resolve No or 50-50 as specified.
  • Game Remake: If a game is remade, all resolution is based on the remade game only; any events in the original game are disregarded.
  • No Kills Recorded: For Odd/Even Total Kills markets, if no kills are recorded in a game, the market resolves 50-50.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon official publication of results on https://gol.gg/esports/home within 2 hours of event conclusion; if delayed beyond 2 hours, credible reporting and video evidence may be used. Match-winner markets resolve upon series completion; individual game markets resolve upon that game's completion; in-game objective markets resolve upon game completion or stoppage.
