Description

This market refers to the LoL match between G2 NORD and BIG in the Prime League 1st Division Regular Season, initially scheduled for April 9 at 11:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "G2 NORD" if G2 NORD win the match against BIG. This market will resolve to "BIG" if BIG win the match against G2 NORD. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Polymarket and Kalshi resolve on fundamentally different events. Polymarket settles on Game 1 outcomes and the match winner (G2 NORD vs BIG), while Kalshi resolves on whether either team wins the match, creating a logical contradiction where Kalshi's market resolves YES for both possible outcomes.

Hero Tip:

Kalshi's market is logically broken and unresolvable as written. It states 'If G2 NORD wins...then YES' AND 'If Berlin International Gaming wins...then YES', meaning the market resolves YES regardless of outcome. Do not trade on Kalshi's market without clarification from the platform. Polymarket's markets are standard and resolvable.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Polymarket: Distinct stance: Polymarket offers six separate Game 1 outcome markets (Both Teams Destroy Inhibitors, Both Teams Slay Dragon, Penta Kill, Both Teams Slay Baron, Quadra Kill, Odd/Even Total Kills) plus one match winner market (G2 NORD vs BIG). All resolve based on official gol.gg data with 2-hour fallback to credible reporting. Each market has clear YES/NO or binary outcomes with well-defined edge cases for cancellation, forfeit, and remake scenarios. Quote: 'This market will resolve to Yes if both G2 NORD and BIG each destroy at least one enemy inhibitor during Game 1.'
  • Kalshi: Outlier: Kalshi presents a single market with a logical contradiction. The market states 'If G2 NORD wins...then YES' and separately 'If Berlin International Gaming wins...then YES', which means the market resolves YES for every possible outcome of the match. This creates an unresolvable market with no NO resolution path. Additionally, Kalshi names the opponent as 'Berlin International Gaming' while Polymarket and the event group refer to the team as 'BIG', introducing potential team identification ambiguity. Quote: 'If G2 NORD wins...then YES. If Berlin International Gaming wins...then YES.'
