This market tracks whether both G2 Esports and Top Esports will slay a dragon during Game 5 of their Best-of-5 matchup in the Mid-Season Invitational 2026 Playoffs Upper Bracket Quarterfinal. The aggregated consensus across Kalshi, Limitless, Polymarket, and Predict stands at 100.0%, with resolution determined by official League of Legends match data from gol.gg. Watch for the match scheduled on July 4, 2026 at 4:00 AM EDT, as the outcome will depend entirely on whether both teams secure dragon kills if the series extends to a decisive fifth game.
This market refers to the LoL Upper bracket quarterfinal 4 match between G2 Esports and Top Esports in the Mid-Season Invitational Playoffs, initially scheduled for July 4 at 4:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "G2 Esports" if G2 Esports win the match against Top Esports. This market will resolve to "Top Esports" if Top Esports win the match against G2 Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
Resolution is determined by the final result of the Top Esports vs. G2 Esports League of Legends match scheduled for July 4, 2026 at 4:00 AM EDT as part of the Mid-Season Invitational 2026. The market resolves to Yes for whichever team wins the match.

Polymarket and Kalshi serve different trader populations with varying risk tolerances, liquidity depths, and access patterns. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform's fee structure, user interface, and regulatory environment also shape how quickly new information is priced in. On Polymarket, larger liquidity pools can absorb big trades with less slippage, while Kalshi may show sharper moves from smaller order flow. Additionally, traders may hold stronger convictions on one platform versus another, or arbitrage opportunities between venues may not close instantly due to withdrawal delays and platform friction. Monitoring both prices helps you identify which venue is leading price discovery on this matchup.
Several catalysts can shift odds before the match begins. Roster changes or player substitutions announced by either G2 or Top Esports would immediately reprrice expectations. Recent tournament performance, scrim results, or public statements from coaches and players often influence trader positioning. Meta shifts in League of Legends—balance patches or champion buffs—can favor one team's playstyle over another. Injury reports or visa delays affecting international travel are critical wildcards for cross-regional events. Media narratives and expert predictions also move retail and sophisticated traders alike. Finally, head-to-head history and playoff momentum from earlier rounds in the tournament feed into real-time probability updates as the match approaches.
