This market refers to the LoL Lower bracket quarterfinal 2 match between G2 Esports and T1 in the Mid-Season Invitational Playoffs, initially scheduled for July 8 at 4:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "G2 Esports" if G2 Esports win the match against T1. This market will resolve to "T1" if T1 win the match against G2 Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant pools and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate the collective beliefs of traders risking real capital. For this market, comparing the implied probability here to major sportsbook lines can reveal where sharp bettors and casual traders disagree on the likelihood of each team advancing from the MSI Playoffs.
On Predict, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each possible outcome. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the balance between bullish and bearish positions, with prices moving as new information about team form, roster changes, or meta shifts emerges. Liquidity and trading volume directly influence how quickly prices adjust to breaking news or analyst commentary surrounding the matchup.
This market resolves around Jul 8, 2026, once the G2 Esports vs T1 best-of-five series concludes and the winner is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team wins the required number of games to claim the series, with the result confirmed through official League of Legends esports reporting and broadcast records.
Key catalysts include roster announcements, player injury or substitution news, recent tournament results, and meta shifts in the current League of Legends patch. Scrim results leaked by insiders, coach interviews, and team-specific performance trends heading into MSI can all shift trader conviction. Additionally, early-series momentum—such as a 2–0 lead—will likely trigger sharp repricing as the probability of each outcome becomes clearer in real time.
