PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All markets across both platforms share identical resolution criteria, edge case handling, and primary source (gol.gg with credible reporting fallback).Primary resolution logic: Official gol.gg esports database (https://gol.gg/esports/home); credible reporting and video evidence accepted if gol.gg does not publish within 2 hours of event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Match Winner: Resolves to the team that wins the BO1 match. Forfeits, disqualifications, or walkovers before match start resolve to 50-50. Forfeits or walkovers during the match resolve to the winning team.
  • Game 1 Statistics (Baron, Dragon, Inhibitors, Quadra/Penta Kills, Kill Parity): Resolve based on actual in-game events if Game 1 is completed. If Game 1 begins but ends via surrender, resolution is based on conditions met prior to stoppage.
  • Cancellations and Delays: Any match canceled, not played, or delayed beyond 7 days without a winner resolves to 50-50.
  • Forfeits and Walkovers: Pre-match forfeits or walkovers resolve to 50-50. Mid-match forfeits or walkovers resolve to the team that wins.
  • Series Clinch: If Game 1 is not played because the series result is already determined, all Game 1 statistics resolve to 50-50.
  • Remakes: If Game 1 is remade, resolution is based on the remade game only.
  • Team Name Matching: Minor discrepancies, abbreviations, sponsor tags, and formatting differences are treated as referring to the same team if the intended team is unambiguous within the competition.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Surrender in Game 1: If Game 1 begins but ends via surrender, in-game statistics markets resolve based on whether the condition was met prior to stoppage. For example, if both teams had slain Baron before surrender, the Baron market resolves Yes; otherwise No.
  • Game 1 Not Played Due to Series Clinch: If the series result is determined before Game 1 is needed (e.g., in a BO3 where one team wins the first two games), all Game 1 statistics markets resolve to 50-50.
  • No Kills Recorded in Game 1: If Game 1 is played but no kills are recorded, the Kill Parity (Odd/Even) market resolves to 50-50.
  • Penta Kill Implies Quadra Kill: A Penta Kill (5 enemy champions killed in rapid succession) counts as satisfying the Quadra Kill market condition, as it includes 4 kills.
  • Execution vs Champion Kill: Executions (deaths to turrets, minions, or neutral monsters where no enemy champion receives kill credit) do not count toward total kills for the Kill Parity market.
Timing: Match scheduled for July 15, 2024 at 7:20 AM ET. Resolution occurs upon official publication of results by gol.gg or within 2 hours thereafter via credible reporting. Markets resolve to 50-50 if the match is not completed or determined within 7 days of the scheduled date. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market refers to the LoL Upper bracket semifinal 1 match between G2 Esports and FURIA Esports in the Esports World Cup Group A, initially scheduled for July 15 at 7:20AM ET. This market will resolve to "G2 Esports" if G2 Esports win the match against FURIA Esports. This market will resolve to "FURIA Esports" if FURIA Esports win the match against G2 Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
