On Polymarket and Predict, prices can vary due to differences in user bases, liquidity, and trading activity. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, one platform might have more Brazilian CBLOL fans actively betting, skewing its odds toward a favorite team, while the other could reflect a more global audience. Additionally, each venue may have distinct market designs or fee structures that influence how traders place bets, leading to separate probability curves even for the same underlying event.
Key signals such as player injuries, coaching changes, or recent performance trends can shift probabilities in this market. High-profile practice matches, media commentary from players or analysts, and even weather conditions on match day may influence trader sentiment. As the event draws closer, any new information that changes expectations for team strength or strategy is likely to create price swings across both Polymarket and Predict.
