Description

This market refers to the LoL match between Esprit Shōnen and Vitality.Bee in the LFL Regular Season, initially scheduled for April 17 at 4:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Esprit Shōnen" if Esprit Shōnen win the match against Vitality.Bee. This market will resolve to "Vitality.Bee" if Vitality.Bee win the match against Esprit Shōnen. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Polymarket defines comprehensive game-level resolution logic with detailed contingencies for match cancellation, forfeiture, and incomplete games, while Kalshi uses a simplified binary outcome framework that only specifies winner determination without addressing non-completion scenarios.

Hero Tip:

If you trade on Polymarket, you have explicit protection: game-level markets resolve 50-50 if the match is canceled, delayed beyond 7 days, or forfeited. Kalshi's match-winner market lacks these contingencies, so a delayed or forfeited match could leave you exposed to ambiguous resolution on that platform.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Polymarket:

Polymarket provides six granular game-level markets (Penta Kill, Baron, Inhibitors, Quadra Kill, Odd/Even Kills, Dragon) plus one match-winner market. Each includes explicit 50-50 resolution for cancellation, delays beyond 7 days, forfeiture, disqualification, walkover, or series-clinch scenarios. Match-winner also specifies 50-50 for forfeit/disqualification/walkover before match start. Resolution source is gol.gg with 2-hour fallback to credible reporting and video evidence. Key quote: 'If the match is canceled (not played at all) or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date, this market will resolve to 50-50.'
  • Kalshi:

Kalshi offers a single binary match-winner market that resolves YES if either Vitality.Bee or Esprit Shōnen wins. The rules specify winner determination but do not address cancellation, delay, forfeiture, or incomplete-game scenarios. No fallback resolution logic or contingency clauses are provided. Key quote: 'If Vitality.Bee wins the LFL 2026: Vitality.Bee vs. Esprit Shōnen League of Legends match originally scheduled for Apr 17, 2026 at 4:00 PM EDT, then the market resolves to Yes.'
