This market refers to the LoL match between Eintracht Frankfurt and BIG in the Prime League 1st Division Regular Season, initially scheduled for July 8 at 3:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Eintracht Frankfurt" if Eintracht Frankfurt win the match against BIG. This market will resolve to "BIG" if BIG win the match against Eintracht Frankfurt. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance liability and extract margin, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. For this market, prediction market odds may move faster in response to roster changes, scrim results, or team news, since traders profit directly from accuracy rather than volume. Comparing the two can reveal where professional bettors and casual predictors disagree on the likely outcome.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares, with the current price reflecting the implied probability of each result. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more capital flowing into one outcome, the higher its price climbs; conversely, selling pressure lowers it. This continuous auction mechanism means prices adjust instantly to new information, whether that's team announcements, player performance data, or shifting community expectations around the matchup.
This market resolves around Jul 9, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team wins the best-of-one contest in the Prime League 1st Division Regular Season. Resolution hinges on the official match result, confirmed through established esports reporting channels and league records.
Several catalysts can shift odds before the match plays out: roster changes or player substitutions, scrim performance leaks, patch updates affecting champion viability, injury or availability announcements, and head-to-head historical trends. Team form in recent league matches, coaching adjustments, and meta shifts in the broader competitive scene also influence trader positioning. Social media sentiment, expert predictions, and betting activity on external sportsbooks can cascade into this market, causing sharp repricing as new information surfaces.
