Description

This market refers to the LoL match between Dplus KIA and Gen.G in the LCK Rounds 1-2, initially scheduled for April 11 at 6:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Dplus KIA" if Dplus KIA win the match against Gen.G. This market will resolve to "Gen.G" if Gen.G win the match against Dplus KIA. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi and Polymarket use fundamentally incompatible resolution scopes and sources. Kalshi resolves on Map 1 outcomes only (binary: Gen.G wins map 1 OR Dplus KIA wins map 1), while Polymarket resolves on the entire BO3 series winner. This creates two entirely different markets masquerading under the same group name.

Hero Tip:

Do not assume these markets are equivalent. Kalshi's markets 1-2 settle on Map 1 results alone; Polymarket's market (question 1) settles on the series winner. A team can win Map 1 on Kalshi but lose the series on Polymarket. Verify which platform you are trading on before placing bets.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Outlier: Kalshi's first two markets resolve exclusively on Map 1 outcome. Market 1 states 'If Gen.G wins map 1... then the market resolves to Yes' and Market 2 states 'If Dplus KIA wins map 1... then the market resolves to Yes.' This is a logical contradiction (both cannot resolve Yes simultaneously), and neither market addresses the series result. Kalshi provides no resolution rules for the remaining 46 markets in the group, creating a critical data integrity failure for 46 of 48 markets.
  • Polymarket: Aligned with standard BO3 resolution: Polymarket's primary market (question 1) resolves on the series winner: 'This market will resolve to Dplus KIA if Dplus KIA win the match against Gen.G' and 'This market will resolve to Gen.G if Gen.G win the match against Gen.G.' Polymarket provides complete resolution rules for all 47 markets covering series outcome, individual game winners, objective-based markets (Baron, Dragon, Inhibitor), kill counts, and handicap bets. All markets reference gol.gg as the official source with a 2-hour fallback to credible reporting.
