Description

This market refers to the LoL match between Dplus KIA Challengers and HANJIN BRION Challengers in the LCK Challengers League Rounds 1-2, initially scheduled for April 9 at 1:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Dplus KIA Challengers" if Dplus KIA Challengers win the match against HANJIN BRION Challengers. This market will resolve to "HANJIN BRION Challengers" if HANJIN BRION Challengers win the match against Dplus KIA Challengers. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi and Polymarket resolve fundamentally different events. Kalshi resolves based on the LCK Challengers League 2026 tournament outcome (winner of the league), while Polymarket resolves based on specific in-game statistics from individual games (Baron kills, inhibitor destruction, penta kills, etc.). These are incompatible resolution scopes.

Hero Tip:

Do not cross-hedge Kalshi and Polymarket markets in this group. Kalshi bets on tournament placement; Polymarket bets on game-level mechanics. A team can win the tournament without achieving specific in-game objectives in any single game, and vice versa. Treat these as entirely separate prediction markets with no correlation guarantee.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Outlier: Kalshi resolves on tournament-level outcome only. Both markets (items 1-2) resolve YES if either OKSavingsBank BRION Challengers or Dplus KIA Challengers wins the LCK Challengers League 2026 tournament, regardless of individual game statistics. Key quote: 'If OKSavingsBank BRION Challengers wins the LCK Challengers League 2026... then the market resolves to Yes' and 'If Dplus KIA Challengers wins the LCK Challengers League 2026... then the market resolves to Yes.'
  • Polymarket: Distinct stance: Polymarket resolves on granular in-game mechanics across Games 1, 2, and 3 (Baron slays, inhibitor destruction, penta kills, quadra kills, dragon slays, kill parity). Each market resolves independently based on whether both teams achieve the specified objective in the specified game, with 50-50 fallback if the game is not played or series is clinched early. Key quote: 'This market will resolve to Yes if both Dplus KIA Challengers and HANJIN BRION Challengers each slay Baron Nashor at least once during Game 1' and 'If Game 1 is not played because the series result has already been determined... this market will resolve to 50-50.'
