Description

This market refers to the LoL match between DN SOOPers and KT Rolster in the LCK Rounds 1-2, initially scheduled for April 18 at 6:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "DN SOOPers" if DN SOOPers win the match against KT Rolster. This market will resolve to "KT Rolster" if KT Rolster win the match against DN SOOPers. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Kalshi use identical resolution logic: Polymarket resolves the series winner and game-level outcomes based on official gol.gg data with a 2-hour fallback to credible reporting, while Kalshi's single market (O/U 2.5 maps) aligns with Polymarket's series completion rules, including forfeit/disqualification counting and the same 7-day delay threshold.

Primary resolution logic:

Official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home, with fallback to consensus of credible reporting (including video evidence) if gol.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Series winner (Polymarket Q44 / Kalshi implicit): Resolves to the team that wins the best-of-3 series. If the match is canceled, delayed beyond 7 days without completion, or ends in a forfeit/disqualification before play begins, resolves 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed and one team wins via opponent forfeiture/disqualification, resolves to the winning team.
  • Games Total O/U 2.5 (Polymarket Q46 / Kalshi): Resolves OVER if 3 or more games are played; UNDER if fewer than 3 games are played. Forfeits, disqualifications, walkovers, and defaults count toward the total if the match is completed. If the match is canceled, delayed beyond 7 days, or begins but is not completed with an incomplete result, resolves 50-50.
  • Game-level outcomes (Polymarket Q4-Q43): Each game resolves based on in-game events (kills, objectives, winners) if the game is completed. If a game is never played due to series clinch, forfeit, or walkover, or if the match is canceled/delayed beyond 7 days, the game-level market resolves 50-50. If a game begins but is not completed via surrender, resolution is based on events prior to stoppage.
  • Handicap market (Polymarket Q1): Resolves to KT Rolster if KT wins 2 or more games than DN SOOPers; otherwise resolves to DN SOOPers. Forfeits and defaults count. If the match is canceled, delayed beyond 7 days, or begins but is not completed with an incomplete result, resolves 50-50.
  • Exactly one series outcome will resolve to a named team (or 50-50 if the match is not completed or canceled).

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Clinching Game Forfeit: If the clinching game (e.g., Game 3 in a 2-1 series state) is forfeited, the match is considered completed and the series winner resolves accordingly. Game-level markets for the forfeited game resolve 50-50.
  • Series Clinch Before Game Completion: If one team clinches the series before Game 1, Game 2, or Game 3 is needed (e.g., a team wins 2-0), those unplayed games resolve 50-50 on all game-level markets.
  • Partial Series Completion with Incomplete Final Game: If the series reaches a decisive state (e.g., 2-0) but the final game begins and is not completed, the series winner resolves based on the 2-0 result, and the incomplete game resolves 50-50.
  • 7-Day Delay Threshold: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date (April 18, 2026 at 6:00 AM ET) without a winner determined, all markets resolve 50-50, including the series winner and all game-level outcomes.
  • Remake Game Resolution: If any game is remade, all game-level markets for that game resolve based on the remade game only, not the original game.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon official publication by gol.gg within 2 hours after the series conclusion. If gol.gg does not publish within 2 hours, credible reporting consensus (including video evidence) may be used. Series completion is determined by one team winning 2 games (or by forfeit/disqualification if the match begins). Game-level markets resolve upon completion of each individual game or upon series clinch (if the game is not needed).
