Description

This market refers to the LoL match between DN SOOPers and Hanwha Life Esports in the LCK Rounds 1-2, initially scheduled for April 16 at 6:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "DN SOOPers" if DN SOOPers win the match against Hanwha Life Esports. This market will resolve to "Hanwha Life Esports" if Hanwha Life Esports win the match against DN SOOPers. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Kalshi resolve based on the outcome of the LoL match between DN SOOPers and Hanwha Life Esports, with Polymarket providing granular game-level and objective-level markets while Kalshi offers a binary match-winner market; all markets share identical underlying resolution sources (gol.gg) and consistent cancellation/delay rules (7-day threshold, 50-50 on non-completion).

Primary resolution logic:

Official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home; credible reporting and video evidence accepted if gol.gg does not publish within 2 hours of event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Match-level markets (Polymarket Game 1/2/3 Winner, BO3 Winner, Handicap; Kalshi Match Winner) resolve to the team that wins the specified game or series, determined by official LCK records on gol.gg.
  • Series total markets (Games Total O/U 2.5, Handicap) count all games played, including forfeits/walkovers/defaults, provided the match is completed.
  • Game-specific objective markets (Baron, Dragon, Inhibitor, Penta/Quadra Kill, Odd/Even Kills, First Blood, Total Kills O/U) resolve based on in-game statistics recorded on gol.gg for the specified game only.
  • If a game is not played due to series clinch, forfeit, disqualification, or walkover, game-specific markets resolve 50-50.
  • If the match is canceled entirely, delayed beyond 7 days without play beginning, or ends in a tie, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • If a game begins but does not complete (surrender), objective markets resolve based on statistics prior to stoppage; if no objective occurred, market resolves NO (or 50-50 for kill counts if zero kills recorded).
  • If a game is remade, resolution is based on the remade game only.
  • Exactly one team will resolve as the match winner (unless match is canceled/tied/delayed 7+ days).

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Series Clinch Before Game 3: If one team wins 2-0, Game 3 is not played. All Game 3-specific markets (objectives, kills, First Blood) resolve 50-50. Series total (O/U 2.5) resolves Under.
  • Game Surrender with Partial Objectives: If a game ends via surrender before all objectives spawn (e.g., Baron at 20:00 not reached), markets requiring that objective resolve NO. Kill counts resolve based on kills prior to surrender; if zero kills, resolves 50-50.
  • Forfeit/Disqualification/Walkover: If a team forfeits before match start, match resolves 50-50 (not to the winning team). If forfeit occurs mid-series after one team has won games, series resolves 50-50. Games won by forfeit count toward series total if match is completed.
  • Delayed Beyond 7 Days Without Play: If match is rescheduled and no games are played within 7 days of original April 16 date, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • gol.gg Publication Delay: If gol.gg does not publish final results within 2 hours of match conclusion, credible reporting (including video evidence) may be used as resolution source.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon completion of the match (or individual games for game-specific markets) as recorded on gol.gg, or upon official LCK announcement if gol.gg is delayed. For series-level markets, resolution occurs when the series winner is determined (first team to 2 wins). For game-level markets, resolution occurs when that game concludes.
