Resolution will be determined by official match results published on gol.gg. This market refers to the LoL match between DN SOOPers and HANJIN BRION in the KeSPA Cup Group Stage, initially scheduled for July 20 at 4:15AM ET. This market will resolve to "DN SOOPers" if DN SOOPers win the match against HANJIN BRION. This market will resolve to "HANJIN BRION" if HANJIN BRION win the match against DN SOOPers. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
Resolution is determined by the official match result published by the KeSPA Cup 2026 governing body. If the match is postponed and not completed within 48 hours of the originally scheduled start time (4:15 AM EDT on July 20, 2026), the market resolves to fair market price. If the match is cancelled before play begins or forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to fair market price. If the match begins and is subsequently forfeited, resolution follows the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events through different mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds based on internal models and manage risk through margin; prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs directly, often reflecting real-time information and crowd sentiment. On platforms like Polymarket and Predict, odds shift as new money flows in, making them responsive to breaking news, roster changes, or recent performance. Prediction market prices can sometimes diverge from sportsbook lines, especially in niche esports events where sportsbook liquidity is lower. Neither is inherently more accurate, but comparing both gives you a fuller picture of how the market is pricing this matchup.
Several catalysts could shift odds before the match. Roster announcements or player substitutions for either team would likely trigger repricing, as would injury reports or sudden coaching changes. Recent scrim results or performance in earlier KeSPA Cup matches could reveal new information about team form. Meta shifts in League of Legends—new champion buffs, item changes, or patch updates—may favor one team's playstyle over the other. Media coverage highlighting a team's strengths or weaknesses, or odds movements on related markets, can also influence trader sentiment. Monitor esports news outlets and official team communications for developments that might reshape how the market values each side.
